Just talked to Roger B..... He said he doesn't know what the top three will be after last night..... but going into last night... John J was high with a 241 and he shot a 702 or something close to that. Erik C. and I were tied at 239 for 2nd and 3rd... Unless someone just under us shot a big series last night, I'm sure John J will remain high average, I'll be second and Eric or someone else could be 3rd.... John will probably drop 1 pin, I'll probably drop 2 pins and Eric will probably drop 3 pins from last night scores..... This is just a guestimation.... I looked at the average list yesterday: Damien Royles 241 John Jerkins 240 James Medaris 239 I saw that Damien shot pretty well last Wednesday, he was next to us.... Just didn't know what James M. did this week or even last week. Looks like I'll have to tighen up a bit and shoot a little better if I want to get back into the top three and in the lead before the league is over....but I still have time to get there... ;D

Caught 19 & 20 last night, normally a good pair of lanes at Arm I but they were not that good last night. Shot 212, 204 & 223 for a 639. I wasn't throwing the ball that great but not that bad either. The track fried by the 2nd game and the approaches were the worst I'd ever seen them. Mills and I had areas on the approaches we were coming to a screeching stop and hopping to keep from falling face first over the foul line. Had to go to a different ball just so I would be at a different spot on the approaches. Plus it was warm in there last night as well. It seems as though they ran the quicker open play pattern last night instead of the normal shot or the lane machine is just not putting out as much oil as it use to.....and a little approach maintenance is needed as well....JMO....

You may want to take up a collection and buy jack some new shoes, with the lanes being drier last night you probably ended up where he was sliding at and its probably the first time for you to have it happen. I had to deal with it much of last year when we bowled on Tuesdays. i always had to play left of him to keep from sticking so bad because his heel shreds rubber all over the approach. My abs used to do the same thing but i went to dexter heels on my shoes and eliminated the problem. I am not blaming jack for your slide troubles but I know his shoes do make the approaches tacky. On a side note I noticed there weren't allot of high series shot last night that I know of. I think Damien shot 540-560 James medaris shot 620 i think, I don't know what mills ended up with I know he had a 289,20? last game. I caught 1&2 were the carry seemed to be slightly harder or the pocket was just smaller. Only shot 258,257,213 728. It was pretty d**n hot in there that is for sure and being on the end probably made it worse, the shot seemed to move back and forth from early to late hook and noticed allot of flat roll out tens from others on our pair. I drilled me a new THUNDER STRUCK solid last night and used all three games. pin on grip center line with 1" pin buffer above mid line with the cg (weight block in a 45* angle from my pap) The ball isn't as angular as my inferno (laid out same way) but it hits just as hard. It blends out the transition very well and reads the mid lane and dry perfectly. No big jump off the dry but a good hard arc a few feet off of the dry or break point and had a disregard for the carry down that allot of others were hitting. Jeremy drilled one up to identical to mine and his is more lateral than mine is off the dry and hits very well. on another side note just got off the phone with usbc and they said my 800 I shot 2 weeks ago wont be honored. She says that the paper work she received doesn't show me shooting 816??? I asked her if it had my games that I bowled on there and she said yes??? SO I asked her what they were, she said 300,258,258 816 So I said OK it shows I shot 816 right? She said NO, I said the scores add up to 816 and she said yes, So I asked again isn't that an 800? No sir its not she said. i was like WTF? She said i need to dispute it with the local association??? lmao @ this crazy mofo. I don't get it and evidently she doesn't either. So I need to talk to Roger and see what I have to do to get it approved. I wont get an award for it but I still want it recognized for if and when I ever do decide to get the multi top rings. Is the usbc this dumb or is it just one person I talked to???

It seems as though they ran the quicker open play pattern last night instead of the normal shot or the lane machine is just not putting out as much oil as it use to.....and a little approach maintenance is needed as well....JMO.... Actually Mr.P they did not run the quicker open play pattern last night and they approaches do not need maintenance... Its is gettin hotter outside therefore and or when one side of the buildings a/c is broke or not turned on until later in the afternoon which ever the case may be makes the oil evaporate quicker... did you not notice how hot it was in there BOTH nights that you bowled there this week?.... And why b**ch about stickin on teh approach when you can ask the lane attendant to clean the approaches for you? Yes as John said we both drilled a thunderstruck but last night I was throwing the other ball that I drilled yesterday... an Ebonite No Limit!! first game I shot 220+243+212=675... And Mr.P got bit in the ass by that karma bug... before league he said you wont beat me tonight lol whatever dude blame it on the approaches or the lane machine like you normally do..... muhahahahahahahaha

And what do you base your statement on the approaches not needing some maintenance?....If you can name any bowlers in that "league" that has more accomplishments and experience than Charley Mills and I, then you or them can start telling me what needs to be done or not to be done as far as anything goes in bowling .... ;D And I was warm, not hot.....but what you said can be true about the temps. effecting the shot...... So, the real question is, when is the A/C going to be fix?.....lol... And last night is the first time you've beaten me on Wednesday night...... so that's 1 week out of how many?.....that's what I thought....lol....

I base my statement on the fact that I have not stuck one time since I have been bowling summer leagues over there... since when does honor scores qualify you for having knowledge about bowling balls and lane conditions. The only thing an honor score is when you strike a certain amount of times in a row you can shoot an honor score on ANY condition with ANY ball so it does not give u special knowledge about anything about bowling.... And I KNOW im right about the temps "A"ffecting the shot.... And Charl"ie" Falco has more honor scores than you and Charl"ie" Mills... Your right last night was the first time I beat you but now you are only 1 pin ahead of me in average so there goes the Karma bug again b/c you said I would not out average you.... we will see in the next few weeks!!!

Well if you think the amount of honor scores that Mills and I have, do not have anything to do with knowledge of the game and reading lane conditions, then your in deep shiat.....it's not all talent... there is knowledge involved. And don't believe everything xbom tells you about what little knowledge he thinks I have.... He don't give anyone credit... You don't stick because you don't slide more than 3 inches and your so far left of everyone at the line, you have that part of the approach all to yourself, with no one messing with it.... and just because your not having problems, does not mean other people aren't. Mills, me and others were sticking last night on 19 & 20.

Mills, me and others were sticking last night on 19 & 20. I didnt say that yall did not have any knowledge did I .... no.... you assumed thats what I meant... I do know one thing though which is you dont know anything about bowling balls today except the fact that they have a weight block, a coverstock, and that they are round... and reading lane conditions doesnt matter if your not accurate. A decent bowler can find their mark even if they dont know how to read lane conditions. As long as your somewhat accurate and you know if your ball jumps through the nose to move left a little bit and if it skids to move right a little bit you dont need to know how to read lane conditions bowling is easy now. So just like I said before honor scores dont mean doo doo about knowledge and to prove it there are people that should have never shot any honor scores b/c they have no clue about bowling. But there are people out there with multiple ones... Not trying to bash them but to prove a point (but I do think everyone should experience an honor score no matter how good or bad). And about me sliding I slide enough to know that I am sticking and I havent stuck there all year... well since I have the whole left side of the approach to myself why dont you come over there and join me oh wait you cant get the ball back from over there... And the reason I play over there is partly for that reason... James Wright taught me a few years ago after city tournament to play that deep so I would have the approach mostly to myself and I could bump all the people right of me and have area and not have to worry about having to figure out what to do when there is over and under while playing more of a straighter down and in... and now that has become my natural game... why would I play further right when I dont have to... And I understand about yall sticking but dont b**ch and blame your bowling bad on it when you couldve have fixed the rpoblem just as easy as you are b**ching about it.

Wasn't blaming the approaches for my low scores...... that was directed to the lanes frying half way through the second game. And I have more knowledge than you think on todays bowling balls. Granted there are things I don't know but I have learned a lot in the last two years from John, Jimbo and other people. I don't have the time or the desire any longer to read up on every bowling ball that comes out on the market. But I do know what kind of reaction I'm looking for in a ball for any particular condition and generally know how the ball needs to react to score well on it. That's why there are Pro Shops that keep up on that stuff and can recommend a ball and drill pattern for me.... I have a job, I have to work 50 hours a week and sometime more....So I don't have time to hang out in Pro Shops all day and stay up on all that crap or for that matter practice....
And if the lanes are so easy every where and your so knowledgeable, then why haven't you ever out average me in any of the leagues we have bowled in at any house?....

But you started this whole thing by dissing me and coming off like I don't know crap like some 160 avg. bowler that bowls once a week......At your age, stay respectful or stay quiet when trying act all better than thou to someone as old as I am and as good and experienced in bowling as I am......Your not your Dad or David....
