Truth be told, it is the most maddening thing I am dealing with as President of the Associaiton.. lost awards. Every week someone is questioning their score bowled X amount of months ago, and either never got their letter from USBC, or they got their letter but where is their ring??? Melissa took over on June 1... soon after that we instilled a system with a carbon copy check sheet to use when presenting awards, and the bowler signs for it. We return it to Melissa, and hopefully all is well. Joe used an Excel spreadsheet to track awards, and it worked well for the most part, but, when we transitioned to the new board there were some cracks... Melissa did not know where stuff was in the PBA computer and we just are having a few growing pains. Hopefully, these problems will disappear with a little more time. Completely understandable... One might think with Pasadena only having two houses, it would be easy to track and take care of, compared to the size of Houston's Assoc. But the two Pasadena houses pump out a lot of honor scores from the easiness of the shots and the talent level of our bowlers. I'm sure there is a lot more awards running through the Pasadena Assoc. than what most people think.... shiat happens sometimes...lol... That's why I'm hoping that you will take the ring at the monthly meeting to present to me later, so it won't fall through any cracks....

Derek Eoff from USBC was able to get my 299 game listed on one of the pages linked off the Main Sport League Website for the 05-06 season top 50 games. But from what Derek told me, only the leagues with the Deluxe Perfect Secretary software are the only ones listed so more than likely, there are more 300's and 299's shot than what is shown.... But regardless, it's good to see my name... ;D the link is, if anyone wants to look...lol... www.bowlingmembership.com/sportbowlingsite/league_stats_games_top50.asp?Div=A&Year=2005&Gender=M&divgen=man

What do you mean Derek Eoff was able to get your game listed? Did you personally contact him and request it be listed? From what I understand Roger Banks uses Perfect Secretary and uploads the standings to USBC, so all the requirements have been met... also, if you noticed, there is a disclaimer that only the high game for each league is listed, so there could well be games not listed for that reason as well.

They have two versions of the Perfect Secretary. Only the Deluxe version has (2) uploads. One to update the standing sheets and one to Sportbowling.com that list top scores, series and averages to their home website page..... Roger only had the Standard Perfect Secretary software that was sent to us at the begining of the league's first summer and it only up dates the Standing sheets. Derek Eoff is a USBC Sport League coordinator. He had to do computer finagling to get my score posted and yes, it was at my request.
