For those of you wanting to bowl on a tougher slick house condition, Pearland is the place!!!..... lol.....After 4 weeks of bowling I think my average is 206....lol.... The lanes are slick and transitions fast during the 2nd game and the carry is tough. Last night I went 221, 169, 245 for a 635 and that my 2nd best series in the place... Synthetic lanes with wood approaches that slide very well....lol.... I can see now why bowlers that bowl a lot there are big twisters....lol.... They even pay 300.00 dollars for a 300 game, if that tells you anything.....lol.....

Maybe Robert Mushtare needs to move to Pearland, TX. He would make a living there as GOOD as he is...lol. I'm sorry, I had to go there. ;D

But I don't think he does as well there as he does at Arm II..... So I kind of doubt it's any easier than the right side ...

Wine... you should like that place... You could even throw some more aggressive reactive equipment the first and second game....lol....The track usually will open up the third game and become more scorable... but they got some really tough carrying pairs in that house....

You're probably right. Slick is good. Too far to drive though, but sounds like a good challenge one night before the summer is over.

Plus the 300.00 is probably only for league MEMBERS, not subs. I know that in the past when centers offered promos like that, it was for league regular members only. Even when Meadowcreek had their 3-6-9 pot, subs were not eligible.

Hadn't bowled there since the early to mid 80's and even then, it was Doubles and Pot Games only...

Just so all of you know, I have bowled at Pearland the last 2 seasons on Thursday night. The shot there is a lot tougher than most, at least for me anyway. Averaging only 208 in the 04-05 season and 205 in the 05-06 season. Crankers do semi well there, but for me it is down and in. I find that I can only score decently going straight down 3 or 4 board. I don't own anything that will hook any harder to play a swing shot. But I will say that I enjoy bowling on something a little tougher than most of the shots I bowl on. I do know that they do pay you the $300.00 when you bowl a 300, but you have to be a league member. JMO.

I figured that would only be for the league MEMBERS only because they want to take care of the regulars.

I'm wondering when Appleland got wood approaches #bsflag# I thought when I bowled down there with Jimbo at the begining of a league a couple of years ago they were synthetic all the way? I need to do some checking on this #think# Will report my findings later on
