#gossip# Rumor has it Randy Ray is adding $1500 to the league this summer to try and entice the Tuesday men's league bowlers that bowled the "SPORT'S LEAGUE" last summer on Tuesday night to bowl on Mondays this summer at Armadilla 2. There's also several ideas in the mix that if you bowl Mondays at #2 in Armadilla Dollars and Wednesdays at #1 in the USBC Independent league somehow or another a discount will be given to bowlers who bowl both leagues. I'll keep my ears open for more information........... post comments on these ideas please #thcheerleader#

Depending on the news I get tomorrow from the doctor on how we are going to treat my cancer depends on if I will be bowling the Sport League or not. I think it will be a cool challenge.

No, that's not it at all..... I had to make too many changes in my game to hit it last year.... and I don't want to be changing things in my game before Nationals at the end of June....If I would have bowled Nationals before the end of the winter league this year, I would have bowled it. But I'm throwing the ball to good right now to be making changes in my release and timing to hit a sport condition in a summer league and have my game all screwed up when I go to Nationals......

I've always heard that bowling a sport league makes your game better when it comes to bowling tournaments because it makes you work hard to be consistant at shot making. If you can hit the shot in a sport league, Nationals should be a cake walk.

If you can hit the shot in a sport league, Nationals should be a cake walk. That would be true if the sport shot we bowled on last year wasn't so dry..... I was having to fan the ball, and break my wrist to get it down the lanes.... Sport league shots only allow 60 units of oil max. anywhere on the lanes. The shots we used were around 52 to 54 units max. and that was on top of Arm I's fried heads and track, they're resufacing this summer. Arm I's normal shot has around 100 to 120 units of oil in the middle to give you an idea of the difference and is ran longer than the sport shots we used...

But who's to say we will be using the same shot as last year? We might be using the oiliest this summer. Won't know for sure until the summer. BTW...who determines which shot will be put out in the league?

James Hickey picked them out last year (he was league President)... and he did pick two of the oiliest patterns last year......James told me what they picked last year and Rusty and I ran the tape on the sport shot last year.... I do know what I'm talking about, why are you doubting me?...

Everything I have read about the shot @ Nationals indicates they are using mild reactive equipment and having to play 4th arrow to get any type of consistency... so You might have to break your wrist and fan the ball there too....

Maybe for singles..... but I've been hearing anywhere from 1st arrow to 2nd arrow but had to be direct for Team and sometimes in doubles.... but singles, I'm sure I'll be in deeper but the Nationals shot is ran longer than the sport shot we had last year....., I'm sure I we be able to find some hold inside, unlike that sport shot we had.....JMO....

Why should flattening your wrist and fanning the ball affect your game that much you throw the ball like that anyway #nutkick# That's why it so COOl in the bowling center when bowling near your pair! It's like a big palm leaf fanning the place when you deliver the ball #SmlyROFL#
