That would be true if the sport shot we bowled on last year wasn't so dry..... I was having to fan the ball, and break my wrist to get it down the lanes.... Sport league shots only allow 60 units of oil max. anywhere on the lanes. The shots we used were around 52 to 54 units max. and that was on top of Arm I's fried heads and track, they're resufacing this summer. Why should flattening your wrist and fanning the ball affect your game that much you throw the ball like that anyway #nutkick# That's why it so COOl in the bowling center when bowling near your pair! It's like a big palm leaf fanning the place when you deliver the ball #SmlyROFL# That's not my arm swing, that's just gas from bigjle's a$$ your feeling.....but I'm sure it don't smell like a palm tree...lol...

Your right it smell's just like your cologne. And perfect just to let you know arm swing and wrist position are TWO different things. Even with a straight arm swing you can break your wrist. And while I'm on the subject Why did you have to adjust your timing to hit the sport shot last summer is not timing the same when delivering the ball on any condition you bowl on. I feel you shouldn't have to adjust your timing when just changing you hand position. JMO

I try not to do that at all on normal shots.... but sometimes I do by accident.... not even I, am perfect, I'm only human...lol... ;D

Sounds good BOM. I know that the Hot girls are coming back, per DT. I've heard others talking about it. The Tues and wed leagues at ARM 1 had more show than expected, hopefully the same will happen Monday.

#clap# Well I have to say I was very pleased with the turnout last night #thcheerleader# We had eleven teams bowl last night with a twelth one starting next week. Last summer with the first Armadilla $$'s we had six teams and we doubled it this summer #party-smiley-017# Five teams from the fall came back for the summer so that means we had seven new teams show up!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to the teams that cme back and welcome to the new teams #hug#
On a bowling note. Next year don't layoff 3 weeks after the fall league ends #smileys-gif-127_0# #SmileyNoNo# #doh# I was very rusty and threw the ball everywhere that was the wrong shot. Had a 588 series and was very pi$$ed of #batte_fou# For those of you that didn't show up looks like you missed out on a good prize fund twelve teams and over a $12,000 prize fund #thcheerleader# Wish y'all were here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's one team that probably won't be back for sure (my guess) because they didn't bowl on Mondays this past year and Vernon's team starting next week usually bowls the other league. But if any of the others stick that would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it also appreared most teams were full, but, there was some VERY inexperienced bowlers.. many looked like first time league members...
It seems throwing those new bowlers into a league that has a high level of competition, large pay-offs etc. is not a good thing for either tpe of competitor...
Is it a strong league, with minimal handicap? Not this summer with 90% of Team difference.
Is it a high dollar handicap league consisting of teams that might should be bowling another, less competitive league?
I think so. There are going to be bowlers averaging less than 100... do they belong in the Armadilla DOLLARS league?

Is it a high dollar handicap league consisting of teams that might should be bowling another, less competitive league? I think so. There are going to be bowlers averaging less than 100... do they belong in the Armadilla DOLLARS league? I'm looking at the overall picture here people... not just an elitist attitude about beginner bowlers money being just as green as mr. p's money... But, how appealing is it, for a team full of 200-210-220 bowlers to come into a league defined as a "money" league, and then be asked to give up HUNDREDS, maybe several HUNDREDS of pins handicap per game. And we all know, even with 90%, the higher average team is still going to win the majority of the time... I understand all about handicap, believe me... there is still a 10% margin of error... so, taking into consideration the higher team is still going to manage a hard fought win, how intimidating is it going to be for the lower teams to lose, lose, lose... It just seems to me, to be a poor mix and make up of the league. I think the strength of the entire league system at Armadilla II would be to not just recruit recruit recruit for any league but to pay attention to where these bowlers are going to be competing, and to what level of competition... Because I doubt the 2 VERY different classes of bowlers could continue to co-exist... one group is going to eventually migrate to another level of competition... either the higher average bowlers move to get their elite competition back, or the lower average migrate to another mixed league... JMO, I might be wrong...
