That was the end we were on. We bowled on 5 & 6. It appears that Arm I is having trouble with the low end A/C unit again.....Wonderful....lol... You gotta love perfect and his athletic abilities. Not only is he THE elite bowler in Pasadena, he is also a "long jump to conclusions" champion. Notice how he takes one comment from one bowler that their thumb was sticking and it was warm in the bowling center and JUMPS to the conclusion that the bowling center is having air conditioning issues... Thank God this is not Diamond Lanes that anyone is talking about... perfect has been condemning that place and hanging out of business signs on their door for about 5 years... and that can happen when they are out of paper towels in the RR...

I think your over dramatizing that a bit PBA..... Arm I was having A/C problems a few weeks back duing the summer on the low end and everyone knew it and I was going off what Doc was saying.....I only made a comment the A/C may be acting up... that's all....where does the rest of that come in?

Well, I 'm a little busy at work today, so I doubt I will have time to look up and post all the gloom and doom remarks you have made about Diamond over the years we have been chatting on this message board.

As far as Diamond, it's probably been a year since I made those comments your talking about and you make it sound as though I was the only one saying anything...If I remember correctly you didn't have very many good things to say about Diamond a year ago either.... They have made some changes over there but since I don't bowl league there anymore, I don't know a whole lot about it, thus why I haven't said anything about Diamond in a year....

Between the short being tight, feeling like crap, and hot, I feel like I did alright. 199, 211, 257 = 667, which gives me a 227 avg. Our team took 4 last night; making it 11 and 1. I am sure it is going to be alot harder now that we all off our book averages. I can not speak of the shot, because the first 2 games it was all physical, and mental. but after I made the adjustment ( moving 10 boards to the right), I was able to line up and pull out a decent game, and it was good enough for the elminator..

You remember incorrectly. I will categorically deny ever making "similar" remarks concerning the topic of Diamond Lanes. In fact, I would define my comments as always being optimistic and trying to focus on the positive as opposed to being fatalistic and accenting the negatives. How many times have we read on this forum comments that Pasadena is going to be embarassed by Diamond during the Mixed State, or that "they" (Diamond) have a long way to go to get ready for a tournament of this magnitude. And that is just on the subject of the tournament. And you have NEVER read that type of comment from me. On any topic concerning Diamond. We've read complaints about the heat, the approaches, the shot, the bowlers, the paint job... I'm surely not immune to the comments and concerns... I do say however, as President of the local Associaiton, it is not my job to critique one of the bowling centers in our jurisdiction. Our board represents the bowlers and proprietors of both bowling centers.

I would have to classify myself as a "1 trick, 1 shot" LH bowler. I move my hand to the side of the ball when I start getting inconsistent on my release, or forget to "roll it correctly", and I can move a board or 2 in either direction, but it causes me to start throwing the ball worse than I already do... luckily I am satisfied with 170 games, so I don't have to make too many moves or try different shots... lol Thank God it's so easy on the left side that I don't have to make too many adjustments...

You may have never posted anything as to Diamond, concerning the up coming Mixed State Tourn.... but you have made comments about Diamond in the past, concerning previous managers over Jimmy, and owners. And the condition of the machines in the back as far as the many problems they use to have. Dropping pins, not setting a full rack, automatic scoring system, the A/C, the approaches, the food....and other things.... as have others, than you and me......

Easy on the left side? I am sure there were quite of few LH bowlers that would not agree with you... Ask Mike D. he had trouble carrying all night long. If it is that easy and all the b**ching going on, why don't they all convert to the Left side??

I think we use our book averages for 4 weeks on this league, so Juice will have one more week to drop his average to under 200. I predict he will shoot another 520, unless thedoctor is ON and makes him pick up his 10 pins ;D ;D ;D We took 3 from the 1st place team last night, helping you guys out.

I had carry issues last night also. I went 195-206-279=680. The last game I did go the front 9, and if you count the 9th and 10th frame I had 13 in a row. I still don't understand this game because I didn't change my shot and it started carrying. I just don't know. We did win 3 from msmullets team. And a side note for MRPERFECT, it was a little warm in there last night, so be ready. Because of that fact the last 4 shots I had in the last game were hanging up on my thumb, but I got away with all but one of them. MJR had a good night too. She went 243-224-212=679. Way to go, MJR !!! By the way, it was a little warm on the high end also..... not miserably warm, but enough to notice. We had people walking in and out of the side doors, so it never really had a chance to stay cool.

The A/C was freezing people out on Tuesday night on the high end.
It must have been having a last gasp so to speak. Working really well right before it breaks.
