So what is the point of bowling all year if you have a 50% chance of going to the playoffs. Why don't you just have a monthly winner that way everyone can go! I sure wouldn't make the prize fund top heavy then. It won't be Top Heavy... unless the Tuesday Men's Pay Off is... because our league's will be the same... a little less money because we have fewer teams...

I wasn't serious Perfect. I am not so stupid that I don't grasp the concept of more nights bowled more prize fund. Just seems like you are giving half the league a good chance at the golden prize. Oh well. I will stick with our Monday night league, fun, juke box music and usually all point money! Although they did vote in some place money last year.

I think this way, it gives more teams hopes of making the play offs. So it will help bring back the same teams each year and then hopefully grow into more teams...... but I can't see us going any more than 5 teams into the roll offs at the end of the year...

Did ok last night at Arm II, went 227, 214 and 278....719 series. The lanes transitioned a lot the first two games last night and the outsides still hook too soon and too much. Stoned up a flush 7 - 9 in the pocket the second game, next time up on that lane, moved my feet a board left then left a 4 - 9, thank you very much.... Even Rusty Davis flushed up a pocket 7 - 9, his ball has never drove that hard unless he had a lot of lane help, meaning they are way to dry outside. It's forcing everyone inside and by the 3rd game the heads and track start flaking and hooking early. I was booming the ball to score what I did that last game and I threw it well. I had some mistake area right but none left and had to keep my ball speed up. My shouder and wrist are a little sore this morning from it....
Maybe after Randy R. bowls a few more 640's and less, he'll listen to me and run the gutter tanks a couple of feet further.

I went 170-278-241=689 last night. I couldn't do anything the first game. I was trying to play up about 10 and one time it would skid and next time it would hook. When I did hit the pocket I couldn't carry. On the fill ball in the first game I change to the ball I have the swing and move way left, and guess what I found. Started the second game with the front 9, but had to finish on 32, which was starting to brake down faster than 31 and came in a little high. Started the third game with a strike, spare, then struke through the 9th, in the 10th let up a little on the speed and come up through the nose for a split.
Bad thing was we only won one game. We were giving up 337 pins a game. We lost the first one by about 80, won the second by 10 and I'm not sure what we lost the last one by, but it wasn't much. We had a chance uptil my split in the 10th.

The G-Spots took it to us last night winning 3 from SIDK... Good bowling guys. Even though we caught 31 and 32 the shot seemed better. The outsides didn't break as soon or as hard like in weeks past. Shot pretty consistent with games of 238, 245 and 247 for a 731 series, winning the Eliminator and high on the pair. Just edged out "screwed" by 6 pins, he had a very nice 725 series and the old man Bob Eason shot a nice 700 scratch with the front 10 the second game (285).
I still feel the outsides and middles could use a little more oil but what we had last night was much better. I was still having to throw my tamest ball (Blade). It could have just been the pair we were on, I'll get a little better read on the lanes after tonight and bowling on them for a couple of more weeks. They did seem closer to last years shot last night, than anything we've had so far.

We won all 4 from Xbom's team last night. I went 176-236-214=626. I am starting to remember why I don't like bowling there. For the 1st 3 weeks I have had 170 games for the 1st game.
Last week I was standing 22 looking 10 and couldn't do anything. After that I moved to 30 and started to swing it and go the front 9. So this week I started off where I finished last week, and guess what, couldn't do anything. I moved back to 22 looking 10 and started stringing them. There is just no consistence.

I was fairly consistent last night. 170+, 180+ 180+ for a 543 series. Not bad on a 156 average. I was aiming some shots and yanked a few... but my stats were 9 opens, 8 spares and 15 strikes. I missed 3/4 - 7 pins and chopped a couple of headpin combination spares... and a couple of splits. I'll take it. Winning is the best part. We moved into a tie for 2nd behind Roger B. and them... they are 10-2, we are 8-4.

With a little more time and practice the spares will come more easily....JMO... I had 26 strikes and 10 spares, no opens (bonus)...lol...

Still, I wouldn't feel too "Froggy" about it....lol.... besides, when you add in PBA's handicap, he ran all over you that first game...lol... True, he's getting less now, than when he bowled right handed...lol.. #nutkick# .....J/K... but he still get's enough to blow your first game away...lol...J/K... ;D
