On a side note, how do you shoot 279 with an eight count ? Must of been an oversite that every one missed lol. Congrats to steven on some nice scoreing! It wasn't an 8 count. He left the 8-10 and got one of the pins. It didn't show the split on the board because he moved the 10 so far over that it couldn't read it and it showed a 9 count. ;D

Maybe I need to go back to school. If you leave 2 pins standing after the first shot, that means you knocked down 8. How is that not an 8 count?

Wasnt such a good night for me or the team, started off with a nice look and made a cardinal sin and adjusted off a bad shot the second game and by the time I realized it I was swimming in it lol. Ended up with a nice 169 the last game with a bruised knee on the last shot that resulted in a foul. The shot was easy and all i just made a bad descision and it cost us. On a side note, how do you shoot 279 with an eight count ? Must of been an oversite that every one missed lol. Congrats to steven on some nice scoreing! Last night it seemed as if you needed something aggressive with backend something I didnt have with me nor do I have period. Never had much use for skid flip but may consider something now. I struggled with the corners after the first game because I had to much burn early and not enough finish on the back. We will see what happens tonight and I seem to be still throwing the ball good just need to make better descisions. What exactly did you shoot all three games? Just curious To answer your question on Crawford's score, he must of gone 8 count and 1 on the spare the first frame, then off the sheet....that would be the only way..... ;D I wasnt paying attention and forgot he had the back eleven. Dont laugh but I had 224,210,169 mighty fine average controle there in route to a 1 game win. I screwed up last night and I realized it, I will chalk it up to cranialrectalitis.

We have an audit scheduled for today.... DAMMITTT
I can't wait to have a chance toread what goes down today after last night...
I would like to tell everyone that the Doctor beat me by 3 pins... and Steven Crawford was DEFEATED <by Me> by over 50...
The middles were fried and there was no hold on the right. TGIAL (Thank God I'm a Lefty), my side was about the same.
I would also like to remind all participants that bowling IS still somewhat of a sport, and part of a sporting environment is variable conditions. In golf, it may be hotter or windier... in bowling, it may be hotter or dryer...
So... let's all assume that the shot was messed up last night by accident, and that is not the "new" shot this week...
Have fun complaining, I will be checking in later...

No need for me to start biatch again on here after all that I did last night...lol.... But I did give Jimbo some feedback of what the shot did last night in hopes it can be corrected before tonight's Mens league. But dispite having to move left almost every frame from the 5th frame on of the first game, I did manage games of 216, 211 and 215 for a 642. By the end of the night, I was swinging 4th arrow to 1st arrow (lofting over the heads to) and bringing it back flush with my newly resurfaced and polished Crunch Time...lol... We did manage to win 3 as a team...that was a major bonus...lol...
There must be some type of mechanical problem with the lane machine. How can just shortening the distance two feet cause the oil in the middle and heads to fry like they did?....By the second game, I think there was more oil on the lanes on the 1st half Sport league shot this last summer than what we had last night. I think we had a whole 30 or 40 units put out last night, if that much....lol... Whatever it was, it evaporated faster than water on a 100 degree day...lol...

That is consistent bowling... and good to win 3... we got hammered 3 games by our opponents... mostly due to us missing spares... and Hue had a 220 the 3rd game. Bad Luck for us... I would like to get everyone's opinion on why the uproar when the lanes are a little different in league play... as I said earlier, do you go to the clubhouse at the golf course and start raising hell with the greenskeeper at the speed of the greens or how the gras was mowed on the 15th fairway? I mean I guess if you are an elite golfer you might do that... but, we don't have a signed contract guaranteeing that we will be able to stand on the middle dot and play straight up the 2nd arrow.. so why do we get upset when the lanes are different from what we are used to?

I think I can answer that PBA..... Because the leagues today are handicapped!!!!. If it were a scratch league, it would be no big deal....at least for me.... Most of us can handle small variances in lane conditions and a few of us can handle even more than that but not everyone has my talent, ability and equipment either...lol.... and still hit our averages. But when there are drastic differences in the shot or there is a condition that you can't score well on due to reactions like hook anywhere in the first 20 feet of the lane and your ball is dead on the backend, your not going to shoot crap, regardless of what ball you throw or line you play. True, there are various speeds of greens in golf but last night was like trying to putt on a green that hadn't been mowed in two weeks, like trying to putt on shag carpet. It just "SO" different from what your use to, you just can't adjust fast enough. There are limits to what we as humans can adjust to when it comes to conditions of lanes and putting greens. Also, today's lane machines are a very technical and complicated piece of machinery. There's nothing complicated about mowers that cut grass on a golf coarse to maintain a consistent condition....Also, the elements in golf such as the wind and rain are not controlled by man, thus we can not do anything about that. But a lane machine is different. It's built by man, maintained by man and set by man to create a desired result and when it doesn't, we can blame a man for the f**ck-up...lol....
