To PBA or any other Association official that may know, I was asked this morning (via email) as to when the State would issue the checks for this Tourn. and to who they would be sent. I told her, that it would most likely take 3 to 4 weeks before we get our checks but I didn't know if they would be sent to the Team Captains only or mailed individually to all cashers and when and where will a prize fund be posted?.... To anyone that can answer that... Also, I would like to say what a wonderful job our Pasadena Assoc. and both bowling centers did this last weekend and throughout the Tourn. I give you my thanks on everything and you deserve more than this thank you for your efforts and dedication to bowling and Pasadena.... The estimated Prize Fund Payoff was posted at each bowling center next to the current standings. texasbowling.com had the unofficial final standings posted @ 9:00 PM last night. I can't remember what the procedure was for mailing the prize checks. All USBC Rules will be followed. There is a waiting period to allow for any protests etc.

Well let's see now Mixed State isn't even over 24 hours yet and some bowlers who bowled with perfect are already wanting to know when their going to get their prize money checks!!!! Perfect George Bishop who was tournament director is President of the league that bowls next to ours tonight why don't you go over and ask him when and how the checks are going to be mailed #sob# I'm sure he'll have agood answer for you!!!!!!!! Pasadena City checks take 3 to 4 weeks so I'm sure State tournament checks will take just as long. I seem to remember reading somewhere that a tournament has up to 30 days after the tournament is com[pleted to mail off prize fund checks so since the tournament wasn't over until 8:15 Sunday November 12, 2006 I would look for them to all be received by the week before Christmas or sometime around December 12th to 15th 2006. Just a guess but let's see how close I am #nobodycares#

WOW, did Pasadena bowlers make a great showing in this years Mixed State Tourn. "Pasadena's Finest" wins Team Event (701 & up division), team consisting of Charlie Mills, his wife Norma, Eric Fiala and his wife Shelly formally, Shelly Southern...lol.. with a 2845.... great bowling guys. Then in Doubles, Daniel Cruz and his wife win the 356 & up Division with a 1576. Donna Zurovec won Womens All-Events in the 166 & up Division with a 2253. And I got lucky enough to win All-Events in the Mens 196 & up Division, with a 2274... I had a great Tourn. overall, finishing 4th in Team Event, 7th in Doubles with my partner Donna Zurovec and 14th in Singles and winning All-Events.... I still can't believe it.... Hey now, don't forget me Perfect. I finished 2nd in singles, and also shot the first 300 in the tournament If it wasn't for my gd 530 in team at diamond.... I shot 1476 for Armadilla's shot

The thank you dinner was great. I love Antonio's food and I hope we get another tournament in Pasadena. George was pleased with our performance and apparently so did alot of the out of town visitors. We all did a good job and look forward to doing this again soon.

I see the Official Standings are posted on the website with the prize money. I have a total of 512.25 coming back, not bad considering it was only a 62.00 entry fee. But I did have to finish 4th in Team, 7th in Doubles, 14th in Singles and 1st in All-Events to do it, not bad for an old fart...lol... Also, congrats to all the other Pasadena Assoc. bowlers that cashed, great bowling people....

Well if you can't beat the rest on your home court so to say, how can one expect to beat the rest any where else?.... I caught decent pairs, threw the ball well and caught a few breaks along the way that weekend. All of that is needed by anyone in any event to do well, it was just my turn, I guess.... Sorry Xbom, me and my family comes first...lol... but nice try....lol..
