After bowling the All-Star Tourn. at Diamond this weekend, I doubt I'll bowl this. There are two reasons why for me....One being, the left side is much better and consistant than the right side and there is too much disparage in ball reaction from pair to pair for righties. Some pairs (for righties) had major over and under reaction, some pairs were not that bad....righties will not be able to compete with the top level lefties that will show up for this Tourn..... so I'm not going to waste my money....

I watched a little bit of this tourney Sunday and they were mega slick on both sides. If you tried to swing it, wash out...if you tried to play down and in and tug it just a little, it went brooklyn. It was definitely a game of accuracy and sparing ability to get you there. I saw alot of people swimming and it was that way on both sides. I didn't hang around to watch the semi's or finals, but it wasn't taking a whole lot to make the cut.

I saw Charlie Mills Friday night at BW3's. He told me he had bowled one of the Friday squads and said they were very slick. He was -50 for 3 games and was 2nd high qualifier so far....
I wonder what the final cut number was for the Finals?

maybe you misunderstood Mills - Jeff friday PM when i checked Jeremy had just had a whopping 390 and Mills and Falco were both 440 450 not 550. Only 2 people had done that well. funny how scores inflate.

Now, I only assume he told me the truth.... but he did say he shot -50...... if there was any exaggeration, it wasn't by me......Mills didn't say what Falco shot other than he did worse than he did. He did mention bigjle couldn't hook the ball and shot 380 or something close to that....

From what I heard a righthander won the tournament... Jason Wardrup from Alvin. I guess perfect's "Left Hander Conspiracy Theory" failed to live up to his expectations... Of course, when you trumpet how unfair things are going to be based on incorrect dire predictions... it makes sense to justify not bowling. Can't lose if you don't show up... The funny thing is perfect will drive to Dallas and wherever else to compete in SASBA tournaments on walled up shots, average 20-30 pins less than the tournament leaders, but won't cross the street to bowl a tournament in his home town... Hummmmmmmmmmmmm? ??

Hummmmmmmmmmmmm? ?? I was considering bowling after hearing how the shot was. I wouldn't of thought Diamond would have changed the shot on both sides for this Tourn..... But I drank too much Friday night to bowl at a high level on Saturday, and Sunday I went and played golf..... I hadn't played in weeks and wanted to do that. Plus with Christmas coming and all, I wasn't sure I had an extra 100 or 200 dollars to give it a try....... Plus, I haven't been throwing the ball all that consistently lately and to do well in a Tourn. like this, you need to be on top of your game and I don't feel I am right now....JMO....
