Lol thanks alot hickey! I was hopeing no one would see our scores. Well we just got back about an hour ago and must say we had a very fun time while there, not just bowling wise but all the way around exspecially with no kids being there. I will be back on later to gives the details of our experience, I am very tired from bowling late last night and leaving to come home so early. Shot 1655 all events 551 team 553 doubles 551 singles. I am very proud of the 551 on 3rd squad conditions that were toast. stay tuned , more info to come.

Hickey, looks like you will be bowling the same times as us. 830 pm team and 1130 pm doubles/singles. The fresh was great and the second shift doubles was good and played tighter than the team pair did (6 boards right) But the guys left of us bowling on our singles pair had problems with the lanes being dry from the get go in doubles. The heads werent bad but the midlane was fried but still had descent backends. So when we got on that pair for singles I tried to play the left sides oil line but couldnt carry from that far in 5th 6th arrow. I then tried to play the hold to the right but it was very dry outside early and late. So the end of the second game I went with a broke wrist and my scout reactive with high, high, high polish and it was in the pocket but had a little over under when it hit the spotty midlane. So I then went to my vertigo with the pin in palm layout and high polish and used the broke back release and was on fire then. I didnt miss the pocket once I got this ball out for the last game. Went 7 pin miss,x,8 pin /,9 pin/,x,x,x,x,x,10 pin spare,7 count for 224. every ball was flush so it could of been alot high game if I could of got some breaks int there.
Getting to the pocket wasnt hard for me, in fact I was suprised at how easy it was to get there. Carrying the 10 pin and 9 pins was the problem i had and also spareing the 10 or seven pin gave me trouble and was my fault for not executeing. I had issue when shooting spares straight with plastic because of the way I slide on spare attempts, I slide with more weight forward on spares than when i do strike balls. SO I kept getting off balance and fouled a few times lol. I think you will do great on this shot this year, if you can keep the ball around 10,9 or 8 down lane at the range finder the ball will set up all day. The trick is to see what the heads and mids are doing to get to that break point. I could start the ball any where on the lane upfront and get to the pocket as long as I heit within those 3 boards. The trick was haveing the carry when it hit the pocket. I used my (RICO1) pin in palm inferno for team and doubles and had a great look the whole time. I did through some bad shots but it was the easy spares I missed that hurt me the most. You liked the way it rolled when you threw it so you might wanna look at taken something like that with you, it really did blend out the lane for me with no jumpy move at all. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Also I think they turn the air off after 5 pm in that place, the longer we stayed there the warmer it got in there and we werent bowling. There was even a cold front that came in there tuesday night before we bowled and it was still hotter then heck in there. Stormys hand swelled up worse than mine and she never has had that happen to her before.

Jesus dude chill out, it doesnt matter what the Jerkins' shot was like or what my shot was like when we went b/c it will be different when u go it's gonna be 100+ degrees outside and the oil will dry up quicker and your hand will swell more with the thermometer set on 95 in that d**n place....... and plus ur in the top 9 bijillion in the nation in nationals average for the last 4 years... Remember? So it really doesnt matter what ball you throw or line u play b/c ur Mr.Perfect....... So stop asking everyone u know that has gone and constantly reposting the same question b/c nobody throws the ball like u with ur chode roll and your piece of poop wrapped in bubble wrap and marshmallows release and follow through that leaves blower 5-7's and 5-10's and lillys and all that good stuff.

LMAO @ ~~~~>jeremy. Um jeff Im not sure what you should throw to be honest. Every one I watched before we bowled was haveing a hard time with over under useing flippy balls. A solid reactive polished or a particle pearl with a short pin should be great for you. people with good midlanes was doing the best. A lefty that went with us shot pretty good useing ureathane playing up 10 www.bowl.com/tournaments/usbcopen/National/viewentry.aspx?e=29407476 But he gets alot of revs and medium ball speed. The 2 balls i had the most sucess with were both layed out with the pin in my palm i.e pin on grip line and on midline. This layout produces a blend reaction wich is smooth through out the entire lane. One was an inferno (pearl) and the other was a vertigo polished (solid) It will depend on who you follow though in doubles and singles. Like I said our doubles pair played tighter but the singles pair was hooking in the midlane. I also used my freak out (particle pearl) the last game of team and shot 216 with it but I had to use it because it was the only ball I could still get my fingers in after they swelled so much on me. It was a little bit flippy but not real bad, it did have the tendency to want to skate past the break point a few times but it did recover nicely lol. It was laid out pin above bridge and cg & mb on my VAL (verticle axis line) wich is laid out to blend the backend also but just a little more tilt through the pins. I used this ball friday night and shot 290 at arm I on lanes 1&2. But like Jeremy sai it will be even hotter when you go so hopefully they will have the ac problem figured out. We did have to stop play a few times from insulation falling off the ceiling onto our lanes.
