I talked to Charlie Mills about the shot at Naitonals, he said the bowlers that were hwcking them were using early rolling equipment, much like Bruswick stuff, with early roll lay outs, and playing in and letting the axis tilt work the ball into the pocket and carry...
SKID FLIP layouts were definitely NOT what you needed...
perfect you should talk to Mills, I was not that interested in what he was saying because I am not going...

Paul Kistler called me this weekend and gave me the scoop....Heard all about it already, Paul was there watching them and others bowl..... My Big Time is set up with a Rico drill with the pin under the fingers....I think this will be a good ball for me in Team..... I may get one more ball before Nationals and get something less aggressive for D & S but not sure on the lay out as of yet.... Pete McCordic used a ball with the pin under the fingers for team but changed to a ball with the pin above the fingers for D & S.... I guess it depends on what squad of D & S you catch.....

xbom was only off about 6 pins per game.. that's pretty close.... Only if you take the high end of his prediction..... I was going by total pins.....43 off from mine and 57 off from his.... I was just saying that mine was closer than his...lol... not that his was that far off, just that mine was closer....lol... I thought it was the closest without going over? Every game i've every watched it was always the closest prediction without going over was the winner!!!!!!!!!! #nutkick# I WIN I WIN I WIN I WIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good bowling whiner and mr p. Thanks for the details on the shot very informative #clap# But how were the approaches. After sticking and hurting my knee at nationals synthetic approaches scare me #vomit# A little feedback on this would be great. Thanks

After sticking and hurting my knee at nationals synthetic approaches scare me #vomit# A little feedback on this would be great. Thanks The approaches seemed ok..... Westlake started off just a touch sticky but soon loosened up and actually ended up being a little slicker than Dart Bowl's approaches....I actually slipped on a couple of shots at Westlake..... Dart bowl, I would say, somewhere between Arm I and Arm II's approaches.... at some times at Dart, I stuck a little, but that could have been me.... My timing was off bad the first two games and that was probably more of the problem than the approaches....I would say that each center had fairly good approaches and consistent slide..... Only on occasion did I have to apply easy slide at Dart Bowl... never needed to at Westlake, except at first in practice.... then that was it....

The only trap you don't want to fall into at Westgate when the oil carries down. Is that when you make your ball change to combat the oil carry down.... you can either move right or go to a more aggresive ball but don't move as far left with your feet as you may think.... there is still hold area if you pull it and it will hold and carry but if you get the ball to your target or 1 board outside of it, if your standing too deep, you won't get the 10 pin out...a tighter shot is much better at Westgate for carry.....

LOL #doh# #party-smiley-017# #bowling# #owned2# I'm predicting 2016 for you Xbom...You could very well do better than that but I'm not going to predict a score higher than mine....lol.... You will more than likely shoot better than I did at Dart Bowl in Team event. I would predict 680 to 699 for you there. The backends are a little snappy and a stronger ball speed will be a plus.... Westgate, I'll predict about 680 to 690 in Singles but Doubles will be the toughest for you....If you can slow down and keep it tight, then you'll beat me, if not, you'll shoot about 630 to 640... just my prediction and I hope you do way better......honestly...

The last time I bowled at Dart I bowled a 700? and I would definately take a 680-690 I'm bowling with Jimbo's team this weekend and would like to have my best set in that to help his cause in winning a State team title! The last time I bowled at Westgate was right after it opened and the approaches were like ice! I felt like Kristi Yamaguchi when sliding but looked more like Dan Jansen speed skating trying to win the gold medal in the olympics!!!!!!!!! Remember when he fell on the last corner when winning the race by over 1/2 a lap #doghouse# #SmlyROFL# #smileys-gif-127_0# Like you said the shot was great in both houses but footing was the main issue. Hopefully Westlake (gate) LOL has calmed down some since then it's been at least 10 years since I bowled there it seems like. LOL

LOL JImbo should like the shot at both houses very well, the only thing that could hold Jimbo back is the amount of practice he's had lately..... I know he's been busy this last year at Arm II and the Pro Shop and I feel that was the cause of his tuesday night average slipping a little this last year.... over worked and not able to concentrate and practice on his game..... If he's on..... he could shoot very high, he likes playing a tigher shot and if he has the right equipment with him he could break 2200+ I'll predict about 1950 for Jeremy..... who else is going with you?

Jimbo's team in no particular order. Danny Broadway Clint Straitwell Dennis Francis Jimbo and myself..... Jeremy is bowling on our crossing team which include Jeremy Lynn Traylor Sunday is subbing with them Larry Knebel and Eric Traylor I think is the 5 on the other team. #think#

I'm sure much better than we did. We didn't shoot but about 3150 something.... Bob E. had 540 in team. He had a bad weekend..... and another right hander on our team Steven Pike I think shot a high 500 or a low 600....he shot poorly all weekend to.....Mark B..... shot like a 2022 I think All-Events...

We caught lanes 11 & 12 at Dart bowl.... hope you get a different pair than we did....and we had 19 & 20 at Westgate.... Ozio and them were on 35 & 36 at Westgate... hope to heck you don't catch that pair....36 was screwed from what I heard and Wine was closer to them than I was and may have actually seen them bowl.....

On Ozio, Derek Williams, and Ronnie Sonniers right lane was screwed up bad. They had no room for error at all. SEE ABOVE...I commented on that early this morning.
