yup for those of u who arent doing n e thing tomorrow night at about 9 they are having pot games limited to 20 people $65 a man.... $5 for lineage and then u bowl 3 games across 3 pairs i assume and they take $20 per person per game which = $400 and they pay $300 1st and $100 2nd...... Some people that will be there are jonathan wiley, shawn maldonado, johnny smith, donald robinson, eddie brod, manny garcia, john perrett, me, and I think daniel cruz... A 9:00 pm start time is too late for me and Erik Cunningham has told me the same thing .... 65 x 20 people equals 1,300.00.... Daniel is paying out 400.00 per game... So only 100.00 is being kept for lineage. That breaks down to 1.666 dollars per man per game. Why can't Eddie and I get those rates for our event on Aug. 26th?.....

I would like to remark about the lanes being oiled on the weekends... not that I'm an authority on lane maintenance, BUT, Fraul drilled a new ball this Saturday and tried to throw it @ Arm II.. the lanes were so dry he was picking off the 4 pin... he threw it a few times and quit...
I realize the new particle equipment and high friction bowling balls are hard on the wood lane surfaces... but, if they oil up the lanes on the weekends, all the open play using the house balls and I'm sure the ball return calls would go through the roof.. and with many of the payment options being on a time basis... customers get angry waiting on lane problems...
It's a no win situation.
Now, I do think $4/ game for established league members is outrageous. I doubt the "spectators" will be eating and drinking enough to warrant free lineage, but, $2 would seem reasonable... it's not like this is an event that will draw hundreds of potential new customers... so I can't see offering free bowling...
It is funny to be betting hundreds of dollars and quibble about the price, however, if you guys were betting on your pool playing abilities I guess you would have to pay the going rates @ Slick Willies...

True and in retrospect, if the lanes are going to be that dry Saturday morning at Arm II, I would have no problem paying 20.00 for lineage if our pairs are oiled right before hand with the normal league shot, considering the amount of our wager. But it's the idea of the thing, that regular Fall league bowlers aren't given any special consideration over the typical and random open play bowlers.... I don't know, but how many people on average are there at 11:00 am Saturday morning waiting by the door wanting to bowl as soon as they open?....just wondering...

Typical "Republican Response"...
It never mattered to you how many people (league bowlers or not) that were waiting to bowl as soon as the doors opened on a Saturday morning for $4/ game until it was YOU that was going to have to pay...
