The observation was made after my bowling was done.... I don't worry about that stuff while bowling.... and if you don't believe me, you can ask Jimmy Young about the right handers carry and the obvious advantage the lefties had.... I talk to the front desk people during "B" squad. The lane maintenance guy started smiling because he knew then smiled and said I know, then gestured his left hand in stating that he is a lefty.... So you make the call wanna.... I was there, you were not.... Let me interpret the "I talk to the front desk people during "b"squad..." "I was b**ching and complaining and whining <disguised as a bowling lane dressing class for the ignorant out of town bowling alley people> to the front desk people like I used to do in Pasadena/ Houston, but I have been trying to change my image, so I only show my true colors when I'm out of town..." That is not what happened PBA.....

Was this at oak hills in san antonio?? i bowled there a few months ago in a tourney and thought it was a pretty easy place. I didnt care for the synthetics front to back but I got used to them. We had someone on our pair using high loads of baby powder that made me really have to slow my feet down. But the shot there did start out on the lighter side IMHO! But the carry was pretty good there. Sounds like you were experiencing to much burn in the front thus the lack of angle on the back.

Yes, it was at Oak Hills, They had just put in new pin that week before the Tourn.... The shot for the first 4 games was great.... I was +169 for four games, (avg. 242.25) for those first four..... but once I got to the low end, the heads hooked more and the carry down got worse.... and when we moved deeper to get inside of it, you would bucket if you were too tight and if you got it out, the 10 pin wouldn't carry half the time. Had to catch it all and not be too fast with the ball speed to get carry...JMO... and to me, the approaches were great. Never stuck and slid just fine.... but not too much.... I think my ABS's work better for synthetics than on wood....JMO...

That is not what happened PBA..... You have your interpretation of what happened and I have mine... All I know is you combine YOU, and the front desk and people you think are nodding in agreement and I know they are people nodding and agreeing with some out of town know it all b**ching and complaining to the employees about the shot at a tournament. Your problem is you should just bowl and not talk about it. You could have always let your bowling do the talking... much like your domination of "F'ing Brod". But you have to talk talk talk talk recap analyze talk talk and then when you back it up, people are so sick of hearing about it they dont' even care....

Your going off of assumption PBA, honestly, it was nothing like what your thinking... I was laughing right along with them, I didn't get mad and the discussion didn't last over 45 seconds and everything was at normal talking level....... But as far as my match with Eddie, I don't recall saying hardly anything at all after our match at the bowling centers or on this forum..... other than me and Eddie's biatching of that one pair at Diamond....and I didn't gloat over me winning... Eddie is a great bowler as am I and we all can have an off day and we each have our houses that each of us will score better in than the other.... I was just able to come out on top that day.... a different day could have brought a different result....

Have you ever seen the beer commercials where the guys say something ans then the other guy says, "BRILLIANT!!!!!!!" They must be referring to the brillince of mr. p. EXACTLY. You did not say much at all about your match with Eddie. You stated your position, you named your elements, you deflected the taunts and egging on from the posters on this forum. You took care of business that day in a classy manner, giving High 5's and such... And did not come on here and give a frame by frame account of the match with emphasis on you capabilities and bowling prowess. If only you would take that approach on all topics, tournaments and league nights and during Hall of Fame season. Speaking of that, nomination forms are available at Armadilla I and Diamond.

I noticed that Jimmy "Mr Sr PBA" Young finished higher and cashed. Jimmy and Bill, his partner shot +90 their last game to get to +330. They were behind CJ and I until that last game.... I think Jimmy shot 290 his last game. He pulled it out right at the end.... He caught a good pair his last game, we did not... but that's the way it goes.... The cut was +282 I heard going into the last game and had dropped from the game before. Then 4 teams shot a bunch to get around us and raise the cut to +319...
