The shot used was a Sport condition. Mills is not going to submit a HofFame application.... He's done it twice already and hasn't gotten in yet.... Says there is too much politics in Pasadena....his words, not mine.... I tend to agree with him. Both him and I have accomplished more in Pasadena and outside of Pasadena than anyone else in Pasadena period and neither one of us have been inducted yet..... but I'm hoping the third time is the charm for me...... Funny, I have heard from 2 different sources that Mills was being submitted... by 2 different people. I understand the talk of politics concerning Hall of Fame inductees, but what I never hear is anyone offering proof that the inductess that got in instead of the one's overlooked were unworthy. That's why I think it's all a bunch of bulldoo doo. I'll say it again, there is a long list of worthy nominees. In fact, whomever doesn't get in this year out of the nominees I have heard will be submitted may well have to keep waiting. And, if there is a "service Nominee" elected, then the performance inductees drops to one... There may well be more bridesmaids than brides again this year. The true class is shown not at the acceptance speech, but rather at the reaction of not getting in... I have never heard Don Parnell, Mano, Boudny, me or my brother, Eddie Brod, Tommy Lawley or anyone else discredit any nominees that did not get elected. Too bad there is nominees that did not get elected that do not have the same reaction for those nominees that were recognized. Because there would be no talk of politics if that was the case. Plus, is it politics that keeps James Long Jr from being elected? His Dad is a longtime Hal of Famer and Board member too... I talked to Mills a little over a week ago, if he is being submitted, he doesn't know about it and has no care if he is or isn't..... I'm not going to go into all that Mills and I talked about but who in your opinion has done more in bowling (outside of Pasadena, in the higher levels of competition of the bowling world) than Mills and I?.... that's been inducted so far? Let's face it, Mills, Jimmy Young and myself have accomplished more in the higher levels of bowling than anyone else that's been inducted to date.... and yet, none of us have been inducted and all three of us have submitted applications at least two years.....I'm not crying sour grapes here. I'm going to submit one this year and will continue to do so until I am in, because being in Pasadena's Hall of Fame means a lot to to me, I grew up in Pasadena...... But like I said before, the inductees will be voted on differently than in the past so I feel things will be different...JMO....

At least until you get in... Nobody has done anything worhty of recognition and comparison to you and whomever you choose to align yourself with in your argument of the week. There is a lot of talk about what is posted on this message board whether you realize it or not... and some of those lurkers that read and don't post do have a vote. However, having said all that, I think there will be much more attention paid to stats this year... and some of the nominees have a resume' that far outshines the one you have...

Well if that's the case, then they should get in before me then. I can at least accept that.... Just curious, along with the past inductees that get to vote. Whom from the Board is on the Hall of Fame Committee?

All members vote on all nominees it's not just men for men nominees and women for women nominees

I thought the Hall of Fame Committee Board members only, along with the inductees got to vote, even if the Board members were not in the Hall of Fame already.... I guess I stand corrected.... Well good. That's the way it should be in my opinion.... One other question, will the women Hall of Famers get to vote on the Men's applications as well?... and the Men Hall of famers get to vote for the women's applicants for Hall of Fame?.... or is it still separate? Just curious....

Just curious.... The Hall of Fame had a meeting to discuss the procedures discussed prior to the merge and voted to change it... only active Hall of Fame members have a vote. Acitve is defined as attending the meeting when voting is conducted. Applications and ballots will not be mailed to out of town members. All nominees are considered by each voting member. Men and women. It is a weighted voting system that I cannot recall without my notes... but each nominee is considered and voted on... those that met the 2/3 approval of nomination vote are then considered and voted on with a 5, 3, and 1 point vote. there will be 2 men and 2 women inducted each year for either service or performance. I can't remember is there is a service nominee elected what happens, but I think then there would be pnly 1 perfromance inductee...

I would guess...
