Took the CT scan last Thursday and will be seeing the doctor this morning at 10:30 to get the report. I'm not looking forward to this visit. Hey, now is no time to give up on the positive thought process... I know you may be apprehensive, but, you have the strength to do whatever it takes and to face whatever is thrown at you... Including curve balls... Hang in there... we're right there with you.

Got a phone call about :30 minutes ago from the doctor's office that I didn't need to come in and see him. The CT scan showed that it was a blood vessel and not a tumor. Therefore, I do not have cancer in my right lung, but I am to continue taking the Tarceva. WOOHOO!!!!!! Now if I can just get rid of this sinus crap, I'd be even more happy. I hope I have some energy left over to knock some pins down tonight...lol. Didn't get much sleep last night.

This is great news.....got to wonder about some of them doctors sometimes..... making you stress over a blood vessel mistakenly taken for another tumor....I don't know if I would be happy or mad.... probably both...lol....

I think the happy will outweigh the mad... Because this is AWESOME news... Very probable, but with not going through what Kris has had to endure.... I really don't honestly know how I would react?....

Took my 3 month PetCT scan Friday morning and will go see the doctor tomorrow afternoon to get the results. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that I get a great report and maybe get off some of the drugs I'm on and get rid of this implanted port in my chest. I think that when that happens, I will get closer to feeling like a person again.

I'll be in a different division... lol Good luck with your results Kris... What?... did Fraul and Xbom kick you off the team? I haven't bowled with those guys in a couple of years.. so I have had time to come to terms with my transition to Association Director with a 165 average... lol

Director. your love and dedication to the Pasadena bowlers didn't go unnoticed. At least as far as I can tell....You earned it and your well liked by all that I know....

Went to the doctor's office yesterday afternoon and the doctor was nowhere to be found and they weren't sure when he would be in. There were 7 other people in front of me so I rescheduled to see him Friday afternoon. While I was there, I did get my port flushed and blood drawn so I don't have to do that Friday.

Went to see my radiation oncologist Monday and got the all clear from him as far as the radiated area looking good. He said I didn't need to come see him anymore since my chemo oncologist sees me every 3 months. There's no use in seeing both of them. Yahoo. My next appointment with the chemo oncologist is scheduled for April 10th. That's always the visit I worry about. Hopefully the Tarceva has destroyed the hot spot that keeps moving throughout my body and get off this medication. I don't know what it feels like to be full strength.
