Thanks PBA and Mrs..... had to attend a City of Houston Pre-Bid this morning, just got into the office.
Actually, the Women ended up having 64 entries and the Men had 61....
I qualified in 2nd place and after the Semi's I was in 3rd. I let Chris Johnson get around me in the Semi's.
Bowled really well in the Finals, averages 239.4 for the 10 games of round robin. I was getting some bad draws, seemed like everyone was shooting their best game against me. Had 2 240+ games and a 235 game that I lost.... Ended up only winning 5 of 10 match play games.
chris Johnson had a 28 pin lead on me going into the final position round match. all I had to do was beat him and not let 3rd or 4th place go around me. Fortunately, I was able to seasl the deal with a 261 game to Chris's 212 game.
April Ellis won for the women, defeating Carolynn Dorin Ballard in they're final match to win by 10 pins I think over Carolyn.

Nice bowling mr p, I got your message and appreciate the kind words but in the end you are the person who executed the shots. I guess it ends up I did know a little something about laying out 7 drilling bowling balls lol. Take care, P.S i went bowling this past weekend for the wifes company party @ baytown, First game I shot 107,201,160 first time I have picked up a ball since I quit, next day I was sore as heck and still dont miss bowling. The lanes had massive carry down with camels coughing in the heads.

They had out the Cheetah pattern in Plano, many regional bowlers there and struggling on it.... I love it..Avg. 222 Saturday (12 games) and 239.4 Sunday (10 games)... I was a bit sore Sunday night and Monday but I'm ok now....lol...

Just found out that the 2008-09 USBC Masters is going to be in Las Vegas and bowled at the 2009 USBC Nationals Open Championship site at Cushman Center on Feb. 9th through the 15th.
Looks like I'll be going to Las Vegas twice next year. Better save up my money...lol...
