Brad and I decided to post the latest on Angie. She is very sick. She has pnuemonia and if that isn't bad enough she has an infection in her blood. They are giving her some high power antibiotics, the doctor is optomistic. She is not up to visitors, I think she is barely tolerating Brad. So Brad is going to print this thread and take it up to her so she can read how much we love her and miss her and want her to get well soon.
I love you Angie!

I barely know Brad, but none the less, after having a friend go through this, and now Kris, I added your name to my prayers. Now, more than ever, you are in my prayers and may everything turn out for the best.

Angie, I've had you in my prayers since you had to go back to surgery almost 2 months ago. I know of some of the things you are going through and will keep you in my prayers. We both have to fight this together. I start chemo/radiation Aug 22nd for the next 6 1/2 weeks, so i hope you will do the same for me. We will both beat this together. I'm with you SISTER.

We haven't heard anything of late. How is she doing and when will she accept visitors or phone calls. As a current cancer patient, I would like to support her and share with her the pain and the good times.

Kris...I know you would like to go see her, but I imagine your doctor would give you a big thumbs down on visiting her. I know her doctor has been adamant about her staying away from a hospital, unless absolutely necessary, due to the chemo reducing your immunity.
She has kinda had a set back. They had to drain the fluid off her lungs yesterday (and it was a lot, Brad said a quarter of gallon from each, which if I remember my schooling is a quart from each lung) and it didn't ease her breathing as much as they wanted. She is in CCU as of now, so phone calls aren't allowed and visiting hours are limited. Not to mention that she is really tired.
