Doug and karen really used to hang out @ Meadowcreek in the early 90's... I can remember them coming by to visit on the weekends when we were working there... they would be on the way home from an Astro game... or even just shopping...
Doug would tell stories about shopping for fishing lures in the sporting goods while Karen was in the make-up section at the WalMart... plus they were big Astro fans... they often stopped by on their way home and Doug would recount the events of the game that we just had on the TV... funny guy.. nice lady.
I hope their family finds comfort in knowing she is well now... pain free and no longer sick.
