I say this because at this time of year many of us are hectic. Hectic in that we are buying gifts, going to parties, and planning things. But in all that, take time to remember that we have a great life. All of us on here have computers, internet access, family, friends, a home, and many of us have gone, are going, or will be going to college.
It is a life that many of us take for granted. Having worked with charitable organizations for many years, be thankful. There are many families that don’t have the money for toys and are dependant on the charity of others, some don’t have a tree, decorations, and some are struggling just to buy food. There are people out there that don’t have cars, beds, or new clothes. They are truly poor and live on pancakes and mayonnaise sandwiches. A life that is in no way desirable, but they live on.
I am not saying you have to give up everything…you or your parents worked hard for what you have. However, don’t forget to be thankful for the things you have, and don’t take what you have for granted!

Or not...
