We found out yesterday afternoon that my dad's biopsy of his prostate came back positive. He will be seeing the doctor tomorrow to find out the details and the plan of attack. Please keep him in your prayers. Thanks.

After meeting with the doctor Friday, he has Stage T1C Incarsenoma of the Prostate. I think this is early stages. They are going to run a couple more tests to see how they are going to attack it, but it looks good. Surgery to remove the tumor is not one of the options due to his age. As I get more details, I will pass them on.
Thanks for the prayers and thoughts.

I've always heard only the strong are tested by God during their lifetimes. Just another test for the Boudny clan to conquer in their journey to the promised land. Keep us informed he'll be strong just as you were.

Dad is going in today to have a bone scan and a CT scan. He will then meet with the doctor Friday to discuss in detail the plan of attack. That's all I have for now.

They have decided to implant some metal seeds into the prostate area so the radiation machine can find the area to radiate. Not sure how many sessions, but probably 5 days a week for 6-8 weeks like I had done last year. He is going to be fine. Thanks for the prayers.

Dad is having surgery this morning to clean out the track so it can take some pressure off the prostate. He will be down for 2-4 weeks. Say an extra prayer this morning for him. Thanks.

Pops started his radiation Tuesday and is having no problems with the procedure. He will be doing this 5 days a week for 8 weeks. He has good feelings about this seeing what I went through with mine.
