I agree... I wasn't worried about getting or not getting high handicap game...lol... I think in the scratch world...lol... I would rather that award go to someone else, even if I did win it...lol... Handicap awards are not for bowlers like me....JMO... and that's why I will never get in handicap brackets.... I feel they were not meant for me, so I do not get in them.....

Bowled pretty good last night at Arm I, went 279 first game with the front 9, stoned up a 9 pin first ball in the 10th...thank you very much. Came back with a 245 the second game with a 4 - 6 split in the 9th. Finished the night with a 223 game, lost my carry when the track dried up a little. We bowled the Boyd brothers team and they were in deeper than me and dried up the middles a bit by the 3rd game.... but I'll take the 747 series and have raised my average to 241.22 after 15 games. I wish Arm II could put out as much oil and keep they're approaches as nice and clean as Arm I does..... just saying, it would be nice if they did... ;D
Also, we won 3 games and are now 21-3 in the league, after 6 weeks.

High Hopes as a team struggled a little last night, we split 2 & 2 against a team that bowled well for they're averages and we had two bowlers struggling most of the night. That's the way it goes sometimes but we're still 23-5 for the season and in first place.
Bowled pretty good again eventhough I was tired and wasn't throwing the ball all that well, thank God Arm I is easy...lol.... Had games of 235, 269 and 236 for a 740 series. The 2nd game should have been 290 and could of been a 300 but that is what a solid wrap 10 and stone 8 pin will do..... Now after 18 games I'm carrying a 242.11 average. I don't know what is the highest average ever carried in Pasadena for a fall league (66 or more games) but I'm going to take a run at it this year....lol....

Bowled like a roller coaster last night at AMF Diamond. Shot 252, 185, 265, 702. Shot transition the 2nd game killed me. We split 2-2 last night. 1st game had the front 8, then left a swisher 7-10 whiffffff and the 10th went stone 7 spare 4-9. what a way to finish a game...lol. See ya'll this weekend if you bowl at Diamond.

So it sounds to me as if perfect is going to try and average the highest Pasadena has EVER had for 66 games and if he's higher than the record he's going to quit bowling that league so he won't lower it the last 2 months of the league so he can add another stat to his HOF application next year. Since he more than likely won't get in this year either #nutkick# LOL

Is Manny Garcia's average at Diamond last year at 237, the highest ever for a full Fall league? And I'll bowl the whole year, my team comes first and they will need me to keep winning...

Last night at AMF Diamond, we won 4. Had a so-so night. Shot 257, 210, 205, 672. 2nd and 3rd games my carry went to crap because I had to move a couple of boards deeper and if I got it inside too much it was an automatic flat 10...lol. Oh well, I only missed 1 out of 11 of them last night.

I was off last Friday and was unable to post my Thursday night scores from the Oxy league Thursday nght. We got beat three games, I did ok until the third game, went 220, 238, 201 for a 659.
The lanes did seem different Thursday night but I think it had more to do with the weather than actual changing of the shot. Danna doesn't mess with the shot but if something like the pads are changed out because they are worn, it can change the ball reaction with out changing the shot. The outsides on lanes 19 & 20 seemed a little tigher at first, had to throw my Horizon starting off to get my ball to flip over on the backends and carry. The track seemed to dry out faster and harder as the night went on. Had to switch to my Blade near the end of the second game. Started off the third game fine, was clean with two doubles through 7 frames with a chance for a 240 something but my ball jumped up high in the 8th and 9th frames leaving the 4,6,7 both times and opening both frames, adjusted again and struck out in the 10th. That's the way it goes, can't shoot 700+ all the time....better luck next week.... ;D

MrP...some lady from the Dallas/Ft Worth area shot 300 on that pair yesterday morning. She was playing down and in between 2nd and 3rd arrow from what I could see. I think it was the 4th game of the day that she shot it.

I think it was the 4th game of the day that she shot it. 19 and 20 is a good pair. It was raining all day last Thursday and I think that had all to do with the shot that night reacting different than all the previous Thursday nights so far this year. The shot wasn't horrible, it just wasn't reacting quite the same and broke down differently than usual... I just didn't adjust fast enough and didn't carry as well as I have so far this year in that league... That's just the way it goes sometimes....

Caught lanes 1 & 2 last night for position round on our Oxy Mixed league, we took 3 games and moved 4 games ahead of 2nd place.
Normally, this pair is an awesome pair but last night, lane 1 was 5 boards slicker than lane 2....It was to the point that Roger, John and I were going straight up and John was actually pointing it up...lol...but it broke down fairly quick and ended up alright. Had games of 218 with a big 4 split in the 10th, could of had a 250 something...211 the second game with two splits on lane 2, it broke down hard and fast and ended with a 256 the last game and 685 series...I'll take it but I should have done better....
Got my 299 Sport ring last night, man is it beautiful. It comes gold with a green stone and a diamond in the center. Has my last name and date of the achievement on the side, all free, didn't have to pay anything for the up grades....but that's how it should be on those Sport conditions in my opinion... It's very nice...

Lately at Arm I, the left lane has been slicker than the right lane. Kinda of used to after the past 3-4 weeks on Wednesday's.
Last night at AMF Diamond, we won 4 to regain 1st place. We were on 1-2 and it took us 3:15 to bowl 3 games. Lane 2 had many 180's and lane 1 had many scoring corrections. On top of that we were bowling a drinking team that is never up on the lane when it's their turn to bowl. Bowled well last night. Shot 248, 221, 266(4-9 in the 6th), 735. Dang, 2 nights in a row that the 4-9 costs me a 300...lol.
