Is there going to be a Mega Bux leage at Diamond this year? Or is it moving to Arm II? Or is there going to be 2 money leagues on Monday nights?

Well let me first clarify a few things i've heard through the grapevine about Super Mega Bucks as their calling it now! One of the 12-14 teams that they had returning was Roger's team. Roger is the secretary of Armadilla $ and has signed up for the fall already at the deuce The Partners were another team that demon had said were going to bowl they signed up Thurs for arm $ There was a few other teams that they said were coming back that have said on the forum that their teams weren't bowling this year! As for 10 teams being repetitive I do agree but Mega Bucks had 6 teams the year before last and grew to 16 teams last year So the league starts small and grows to bigger!!!!! As for repetition how about having to re-rack on a frame to frame basis each and every night I can't say they're still as bad now but if they are I personally wouldn't want to endure the same thing for another 36 weeks Arm $ starts at the same time as bux did at 7p.m. and we are averaging being done by 9:15 to 9:30 every night And after 2 months of bowling we've had less than 10 lane assistance calls with 5 of those calls being for deadwoods Thanks to bigjiggly As for having 2 leagues on back to back nights with high average bowlers if you make the league formats different thus giving the high average bowlers 2 different looks with good prize funds in both leagues it gives the higher average bowlers the opportunity of winning 2 leagues in the same center and pocketing a chunk of change into their bank account at the end of the season! Another rumor I hear is that Demon is NOT going to charge Super Mega Sux any lineage fee for the season and put all the lineage money into the prize fund Last year Mega Sux paid somewhere around $15,000 in lineage and it was the biggest league in the house How can they possibly do this and keep the doors open It doesn't sound feasibly possible to me I can offer you stability at the deuce and I'll get off my soapbox now

But really, being serious...not only do I wonder how they can afford not to charge lineage, but where do you get the money for upkeep that is necessary? I would hate to bowl for 5 weeks of great lanes, and then have to put up with breakdowns due to poor maintenance. Then after 10 weeks with 5 weeks of complaining hear "Well you know you don't pay any lineage."

I heard that Eddie Brod was going to be the secretary at Diamond. Didn't hear how many teams. I haven't walked in the doors of Diamond since the payout of Mega Bucks so I am not sure what is going on there, or who is working there. All I know is until they make major, and I mean major improvements I will bowl the city tournaments, but you won't see me bowling league there.

Demon is going to have a league called Super Mega Sux Armadilla 2 is having Armadilla Dollars As for last years league moving to Armadilla Dollars We have room at this time for only 10 teams With 5 or 6 teams already signed up for this fall season! I would hate for a team wanting to bowl dollars to be left out by not signing up in time for the limited space that we have This league maybe starting small but it has the potential to be a big league

As of tonight we have NINE ( 9 ) confirmed teams for Arm $ on Monday nights. We have the potential to be given more lanes if I have more teams firm up their commitments. With a minimum of 10 lanes guaranteed, there is ONE ( 1 ) spot left. Let me know ASAP and the spot is yours. I truly believe that between Randy, Allyson, and the BOM they will find a way to give us more lanes if I tell them we have teams to fill them!!! They can possibly move a league to another night, but I can't go to them with maybe's. I need firm commitments. I have some people out there looking for others to bowl with. As for the money, the money will be there and it can only get better if I can get more teams, meaning I can approach the powers that be with this many teams now what can you do for us. Arm 2 will offer stability and consistency in all areas of the center. I have bowled there this summer for the first time, and from the time I walk in the door till I leave I have felt very welcome! Josh is a terrific desk person to the porter who does a great job and Iva just can't hardly be beat in the bar/snack bar. As Bom referenced, there has hardly been any calls for anything with the lanes and machines. The restroom has always been clean. I don't really know what else to say except that I hope you choose to join up for Arm $ and my promise to you is an enjoyable experience and an opportunity to win $$$$. Thanks RB ( secretariat )

The shot hasn't changed at the Duece in several years!! Jimbo gets a good shot down and doesn't mess with it unless there's a league asking for more oil!!!!!!!! Screwed do you want them harder? Your only averaging 220 and your not even concentrating on your game

Your only averaging 220 and your not even concentrating on your game Lol yes 220 but should be averageing 230+ I havent averaged that since I quit bowling all but one night a week. I was just curious if the shot was going to change any so if I bought something new I would know whether or not to by aggressive or mild reacting equipment. I might just stay with the ego seeing how it is so versatile for me. Thanks for the update bom and roger.
