We will miss you wine if you can't make it, but fully understand.

Why, what's after 12/9/07? Hall of Fame vote is on 12/9/07, not a Board Meeting.

High Hopes took 3 from one of the teams tied for first going into last night. We were only 1 game back and Butch McNair's team split. So we think we moved into a 1st place tie. Congrats to Danny Trevino for a 300 game his 3rd game, bowled against us of coarse...lol... but we still won that game. I bowled ok, shooting 225, 247, 224 for a 696 series. Won two brackets, split a 3rd one with Roger B. and finished 3rd in the Eliminator. The scores are coming up at Arm I, which is good. Right now, I'm having more fun at Arm I than Arm II. The shot is better, the pins carry better and the approaches are cleaner. Great job Danna and crew...

High Hopes won 3 again last night in the same fashion as last week, won the first two, lose the 3rd but won totals. Had a great night shooting games of 279, 258, 246 for a 783 series on 31 & 32. Had a chance to shoot 804 if I would have struck out in the 10th the 3rd game. Left a half pocket 7 pin on a pretty good shot on the first ball. Oh well, I'll try again next week but I raised my average 3 pins to 228 now and hopefully I'll get back up to where I was last year. Made a hand position change last night to get more axis tilt rotation on my ball and appears to have worked great. Hopefully, this will carry over and work at Arm II next week. Also congrats to Dennis Francis last night for going 286, 258, 279 for a 823 series. He took some money out of my pocket last night in the brackets and Eliminator.... Great bowling Dennis..... I catch him twice the first game and lose both of them with a 279 game..

High Hopes redeemed ourselves this week winning all 4 games. I bowled pretty well with games of 266, 227, 237 (with 2 opens) for a 729 series.
Congrats go out again to Dennis Francis, he's been on fire here lately at Arm I... he goes 269, 265, 299 for a 833 series. That's 2 800+ series in 3 weeks.... GREAT BOWLING Dennis....

High Hopes won 3 last night but still lost ground on the 1st place team, they won all 4... With not throwing a ball for a week it showed my first game last night. Started off with a 210 but came back with a 278 and 268 for a 756 series. Finally got my average back up to the 230's in this house, the shot has been really good the last two months. Wished Arm II was half as good.... Hopefully the re-coating job Jimbo did over Christmas Holidays will help...

I bowled horribly last night.. I threw more strikes and spares in practice than I did during league...
But, we won 4 and I get more handicap next week...
I had not bowled since December 17th... obviously missing almost 2 weeks does nothing for my game...
I ended up with 5 spares for the night, and only 6 strikes... you do the math on how many opens... I'll give you a hint... almost 20.
I chopped every spare for 2 games... and missed a couple of single pins... my timing was so bad I picked off 3 pins on the right about 10 times... I finally used my spare ball and moved way left, just to try to straighten out my arm swing the 3rd game and felt a little better about things...

PBA,
Your doing the same thing left handed as you were right handed with your timing. Your feet are at the line way ahead of your arm swing and your using your upper body to throw the ball....Your basically just planting and throwing the ball. Your left shoulder is going back with your ball and forward with your follow through.... It's very hard to have accuracy on any kind of consistent bases doing that with your shoulders... and the poor timing is taking most of your power and leverage off your ball's roll.... Thus the bad reaction and carry..
I'm not trying to pick on you ..... I just happen to watch you throw a few last night and in weeks past and that is what I have notice. Just wanted to let you know so you can work on it the next time you practice...... I'd be willing to work with you, if you would like..

I bowled alright last night...I still haven't been able to put 3 good games together since I started back..I shot a 612 last night...I sandwiched a 150-something with two 200's...I'm having a hard time picking up easy spares...Timing and talent seem to be what I am having a problem with...Does a local pro shop sell either?

Still, a pretty decent series, even with the 150 something game.... good bowling Homersan!!!!.... Hang in there, you'll pop that 700 series mark again.... I wished timing and talent could be sold in a proshop... could have saved me a lot of wear and tear on the body having to develop it....lol...

Oh yeah...Good series Mr.P... Thanks you sir..... wished I could take a Mulligan on my first game last night. There has been a really good shot out there the last month or so and I should have shot at least 1 - 800 series and a 300 game on it by now.... but I haven't... .... The only honor score I've shot this year was at that rag of a house down the street during the All-Star Tourn. 299 game..... on a shot that was much tougher than Arm I's shot.... I know, it don't make sense to me either....lol...
