It may be the only chance I have to win by destracting the other bowlers in my division. Do whatever it takes, besides cheating, to win...lol You'll need more than a bald head to beat me this year....lol... I've been throwing the ball pretty well here lately at Arm I and at Diamond.... My goal is to be above 2200 All-Events... I feel it's going to take that and maybe more to have a shot at City Champ. this year....JMO... I'm just happy that I am participating in the tournament this year. If I win anything, it will be considered a BONUS.

I'm sure it will take another year before you get back to your old self again.... Good luck though, I'm sure your going to give it your best and will enjoy the competition again.

#twak# My goal again this year as every year is to beat perfect by at least one pin #bash# With his LOFTY goal he sets every year if I beat him I'll have a good tournament. As for me repeating it would be nice but with the disadvantage of only bowling at Armadilla 12 games since last May (sports league doesn't count) and not throwing a ball at Demon since the end of Mega Sux League last year plus injuring my knee at Nationals I just hope I can bowl 9 games in 2 days #hospital# With the use of pba's ROBOKNEE brace I should be able to as for what I'll bowl I'd just like to place in every event and win the doubles with bigjle #thcheerleader# he's been throwing the ball really good so I'll get on his back and let him hold me up #deadhorse# See all of you Saturday #bowling#

Congrats to James Long, Jr. for setting a new all time All Events record with an incredible 2265. This eclipses the old mark of 2218 held by Mano Graham, set in 1990.
perfect had 300 the 1st game in doubles to carry he and Jack Simmons to 1st place in doubles with a 1400.
Jr. leads singles with 785.
Bigjiggly had a 299, and Roger Banks had 289 the last game of the 2nd squad.

Congrats to James Long Jr for shooting 300 at both houses this weekend. Congrats to Perfect for a 300 and BigChewy for a 299. On another note, I am hurting this morning. I'm just glad I made it through 9 games this weekend. I shot 1914 All-events which I thought was pretty good for me. I'm proud of myself for making the effort to bowl even when I wanted to quit due to being so tired and worn out. I will be there next weeknd to WORK ONLY. Please don't ask me to sub ...lol. Junior, you are an AWSOME bowler and I hope you get your just due soon. I just hope your right shoulder and arm hold out long enough. Sometimes it hurts to watch you throw that ball. ;D

Junior, you are an AWSOME bowler and I hope you get your just due soon. I just hope your right shoulder and arm hold out long enough. Sometimes it hurts to watch you throw that ball. ;D I think his arm should hold out... as evidenced by his unorthodox swing, it's obvious his arm isn't moving in any direction it doesn't want to go... I know I am worn out this morning too... I know the teams entries were down this year, but, most of the Board was bowling... and there was very little help. Not a slight against any of our Board... I understand all of the parameters and circumstances... but, there were a few that were not bowling and were not seen or heard from... The amazing thing, is how some of the Board can seperate themselves as bowler OR Board member and not both. It's amazing that a few never even asked if there was anything they could do... Joe was running the computer and entering scores, and Jim Long is 1-legged right now, and that was the tournament staff by and large. Thanks to Jimmy Mc for stepping up as usual too. This may sound like sour grapes... but, I don't care... Thank God for USBC and the merge. In future tournaments, some of the board that is bowling may have to switch off the bigger squads to help with things like running bracket scores and lane monitoring and verifying scores after each squad. Thanks to Christine Lewis of the PWBA for helping with bracket sign ups between doubles and singles. Thanks to the PBA Directors that asked what they could do to help and when there was not much going on, asked if it would be alright to leave. The squads are smaller next week, and there will probably be too much help...
