Trust me Perfect, your pair was not the only pair who had people quit during singles. The heads were getting fried on other pairs, too. Jimmy and Long, Jr both loft the ball is why they didn't have the problems that we had. Jimmy or Long Jr could have been on your pair and the fried heads wouldn't have bothered their game. JMO That of which you are talking about is true but keep in mind we had 8 bowlers on our pair for Doubles. Which meant the Heads being fried, Track being fried and oil carry down was worse on our pair, more than any other. Plus our approaches were worse, from the heat, more use and being further to the high end than y'alls and Jr's by one pair....All of these factors play in to how a pair breaks down and how scorable or unscorable a pair will be....JMO.... I'm not saying JR. or XBOM couldn't of beaten me on that pair.... I'm just saying, they would have shot a lot less for Singles than what they did, if they were both on our pair....JMO.... There was some talent on our pair as well....Lane conditions dictate scores, period.... I'm going to say this " FACE IT perfect your washed up and can't bowl more than 3 games a day" #SmlyROFL# You were probably suffering from "Whisky Denial" #cheers2# or maybe you had your eyes "outside wishing you were on the golf course" you know it was a Sunday afternoon and Sundays aren't just for bowling it's also your normal golf day #sob# Plus you state that it's not the normal house shot #grrr# Who told you that Russ Shields #throwrock# That man has shot back to back 300 games and biatched about the shot #smileys-gif-127_0# Also I'm sure he's bowled enough games over there to know how the shot on the weekend is always different. Raise you bar on it being a different shot unless you heard it from Daniel or Cory it probably isn't true. Since Daniel wasn't there and Cory doesn't like you you heard it from someone on your pair so it doesn't count. Just like you used to tell me people biatched on Mega Bucks about how bad the shot was every week but know one ever said anything to me #bsflag# Those were the "VOICES" inside your head talking. Also don't even start to tell me that you've NEVER had a sub 600 series after 2 700's in a row. Face it Jeff you don't bowl there enough to make a statement like that. You've bowled less than 20 games over there in almost a year and alot has changed since you bowled there weekly. The shot is going to breakdown different with the volume of oil there using now and we ALL know bowling 6 games on one pair makes the shot that everyone is playing dry up faster. Think about Armadilla 2 from Monday to Tuesday. Monday a more of a mixed League format 10 people playing their own shot. Tuesday 10 people playing the SAME shot most of the time Tuesday is drier than Monday at least for me it is. Your D&S pair had had at least 7 very good bowlers on it all playing the SAME shot or close to it and the lanes dried up faster on that pair than say they did on mine. You still averaged 222 for the tournament not bad with a 548 series. See y'all at the deuce tonight #nutkick#

I bowled both shifts at Arm I Saturday and the shot was 100% different from 1st to 2nd shift. I went 588 first shift and then went 667 second shift. The one thing that I have noticed at Arm I is how different one lane is compared to the other. If both lanes are slick or hooking I don't mind as long as the are the same. As for the shot at Diamond, the shot was scoreable. I think it was better than Arm I. You just had to be consistant with where you hit and with your speed. I went 690 and 611. I should have done better in singles, but I was getting tired and didn't move fast enough. for Doubles at Diamond I would agree, Diamond's shot was better but for Singles....I don't know about your pair but ours turned sour real quick.....If you don't believe me, you can ask, Mano, Jeff W., Manny G., Eddie B., Roger B. and Jack S..... Everyone bowled worse for Singles on our pair, many didn't even bother finishing the set on that pair it was so bad...

I don't know how Daniel puts up with his crap.... For the rest you said....blah...blah ...blah..... your a$$ don't bother me....lol...

You should be worried about me at Diamond you had 1300 and I had 1348. You had 2004 all events and I had 2042. 2 years in a row at least that I beat you. You need to practice.

I only had 2002 I think, 702, 752 and 548...that's 2002 I just don't get as good of lane draws as you do.... Let's see if you beat me next week in Team.. Since we're on the same team and will be on the same pair.... You want any part of me on a side wager? I didn't think so....lol... Who else is on the team beside you, me and bigjle?

As for Manny quitting after the 1st game in singles he advanced in 15 out of 15 brackets. After the 2nd game he didn't advance in 15 out of 15 brackets. He advanced to the finals of zero. He wasn't bowling for a city title he was bowling for MONEY. After he couldn't make any he quit. Mano quit because his knee was hurting same goes for James Hickey. Quitting because of injury imho is ok quitting because your pi$$ed off for losing money is acting like a baby.

The only one I know quit was Kerry. I know he didn't bowl singles at all.

I lost money as well in Singles, and my legs and knees were hurting from a lack of sliding on those piss poor approaches.... and saw my chances go out the window for All-Events Champ. all in the 1st and 2nd game of Singles... I was at 1454 after 6 games and Jr. was at 1468 or there abouts after 6 games... but cudos to him, he out shot Mills and Falco as well on that pair he was on, so I'll tip my hat to him this weekend.... he did very well....I don't mind losing on equal conditions and he did what he was suppose to do, shoot the most he can and take advantage of favorable conditions. But I'll be d**n if I sit idlely by while my pair for D & S has more on it than everyone elses for D & S, next year... This makes two years in a row that I have shot 600 or less in Singles because neither house can put up a shot that will last 6 games without the heads frying with only 6 or 8 people on them....

And I guess my prediction on it taking a 2200+ to win AE came true...

I dont know if i am or not. i guess ill find out when they post this weekends scores. Unofficial standings are posted at both centers. The 2nd shift of doubles is not included, but, there was only re-entries on doubles and no division 2 changes. In Division 2, Eric Fiala is leading with 1884, Poteet, you had 1882.

My game and execution was there to do it...the shot was just wasn't there to do it.... because no one on my pair shot much if anything in Singles.. I really would like to see us going back to moving pairs after Doubles.. or is that just too complicated for our Assoc. to keep up with.... We use to do it when we had more entries years ago..... why is it so difficult now?
