#SmlyROFL# Heard the funniest thing I think I've ever heard last night in the proshop!!! Robert Lawrence from Brunswick was there and alot of the PBA regional bowlers were showing up for the Men's League last night. Randy Ray Charlie Mills James Hickey Charlie Falco was going to be there and when Mills was talking to Robert about all the old PBA members who were going to be there to Robert he mentioned Jeff Clark!! And Robert said WHO #SmlyROFL# #SmlyROFL# #SmlyROFL# #SmlyROFL# #nutkick# I heard that same story, too. I almost fell down laughing. I was hurting bad from laughing. Had to take an extra pain pill. Didn't the conversation start about Cecil's passing? Then they started talking about the old days.

I was talking to him a month or so ago in Jimbo's Pro shop and bowling regional and various scratch tourns. years ago.... He'd remember my face.... whatever it's easy to remember what someone looks like. It's when they remember your name that you've made an impression on them. I see people all the time that I haven't seen in many years who come in bowling with their kids now. When they recognize me and know my name I feel bad because I don't remember their name but I remember their face. The one's I remember their name and face must have made more of an impression on me. So i guess If he remember's your face but not your name you must not have made a very long lasting impression on him. I'll never forget the story I heard about y'all talking in the shop that day He was wearing a red shirt with a BIG B on the front and BRUNSWICK across the back and Y'all were over by the top end balls and talking about the different brands and Robert told you he was a ball rep now and you asked him #SmlyROFL# "DO YOU WORK FOR TRACK OR COLUMBIA NOW? #SmlyROFL# #nutkick# #nutkick# #nutkick#

Screwed.... on my Hammer Doom layout, can a axis hole be put in somewhere to increase the finish on that ball. Once I get a little oil carry down at Arm I, that ball stops carrying the 10 pin. It seems to flatten out right at the end and am leaving flat 10's...
I'm hoping to avoid plugging and re-drilling if possible.

screwed---let me get this one. increase finish? it can be done two different ways. i will explain. a balance hole can make the ball go into roll earlier (thus giving the ball more traction in the mid lane). this example should be used for lanes with more oil or high speed bowlers. now, a balance hole can make the ball increase the amount of skid (therefore storing more energy for when the ball does finally flip over.) this example should be used for drier lanes or slower bowlers in order to keep the ball from "rolling out". back in the day----before there were balance holes, most bowlers were known to acquire these same reactions by moving their feet left and right. * sidenote* more than a 1/8th of a board adjustment might be required. now since you have noticeable carry down, { I } would suggest that you go with the "roll early" balance hole. *side note* dont over do it, to big of a balance hole might change the way the ball rolls entirely. OR YOU CAN DO THIS, find your track flare and lightly sand the last couple of rings. this will be free to you and you wont bother screwed in the process.

But with the high tech weight blocks of today, I just didn't want to assume a weight hole would automatically work.....I need the ball to store more energy, it's moving too soon and flattening out on the backend. And at the two Armadilla's houses, that's not going to work unless it's the sport league shot in the summer...

No a weight hole wont really help you on that ball unless you want negative weight. That ball is lable leverage. The pin is in a leverage position and that is why it is rolling early because of the high flare position it is in. Now the cg angle is going to make it want to release its energy to slow because of the amount of tilt or a better exampl is the block laying flater more on its side. You can however sand it up in finish and polish it or drill the thumb hole deeper to give it more finger weight if it isnt maxed out already. besides that not much more you can really do.
