No a weight hole wont really help you on that ball unless you want negative weight. That ball is lable leverage. The pin is in a leverage position and that is why it is rolling early because of the high flare position it is in. Now the cg angle is going to make it want to release its energy to slow because of the amount of tilt or a better exampl is the block laying flater more on its side. You can however sand it up in finish and polish it or drill the thumb hole deeper to give it more finger weight if it isnt maxed out already. besides that not much more you can really do. Well, I'm not looking for a whole lot more, just a little. Let's check the finger weight of the ball and see if we can add some by drilling the thumb deeper. I don't want a negative weighted ball. But I would have thought drilling an axis hole to add some side weight would help to....

I've got an idea for ya...put something on the ball besides HOPE. ;D I don't have to put a lot on the ball to strike. I put enough on the ball, that way I don't have to sacrifice accuracy and can score more on a larger variety of lane conditions than others that can only twist the ball up....lol... ;D That's why I have almost always been in the top 3 in average in every league I've ever bowled in for the last 20 years... ;D

That's why you are claiming to have problems with carry down because you don't have a ball yet for that situation. That's why I gave you that suggestion. I didn't say you had to become a TWISTER. I don't think anyone in this world could ever picture you as a TWISTER...lol

And doing something drastically different in my release (hand position) at release does not create a very repeatable condition for me, thus inconsistent ball reaction and carry...JMO...I try to stay away from changing my hand position at release as much as possible. I try moving my feet and changing balls first before having to do that... but that's just me...

Just had to mess with you a little bit since you have 5000 bowling balls that you carry around with you. Most bowlers can only have 2-3 with them...lol. They don't make that big money you make or get huge bonuses.

My Crunch Time and Blade are 3 and 4 years old..... I have a Charcoal BigTime that's a specialty lane condition ball that I never throw in league. It's for Nationals and slick lane conditions I may encounter at a Tourn. I have the Horizon, Doom, Ricochet Rebound (it's 2 or 3 years old) Now the Smokin Inferno, Blade and Crunch Time. The Blade and BigTime are in the back seat of my truck, I don't have room for them in my 6 ball bag...lol...

I threw the Tweety ball away........ I still have the Scooby Doo, but I keep it uncovered in the garage, so I'm sure it has been weather-baked (see, I saved the $25 already!) and just needs a good buff -- don't they still have those 50 Cent buffing machines around this town somewhere? or should I just get an old sock out and wipe the dirt off of it that way? I didn't like the way it hit the pins..... they all went in the back instead of plopping all over the deck and hitting each other....... maybe a lighter ball will help with that!

I gave up tring to help women bowl better years ago...... They wanted to strike more but kept saying, I can't do what your wanting me to do or once I gave them a little knowledge and they got a little better, they thought they didn't have to listen to me any more because they knew it all already.... #grrr# So as a rule now.. I no longer give women help when it comes to bowling...lol...J/K...

When did you wanna check the weights? Would Monday evening before bowling league be ok?, if not Tuesday before bowling would be fine.... I don't have to have this ball changed before this weekend. It could work fine the way it is at Diamond and I 'll probably be throwing my Horizon or Blade at Arm I.....

John...I think I'm going to try the Track Rule GP2 first with Pin Placement #4 and Mass Bias Placement #1 for light oil and a smooth arc. It should still hook a little more than my U-turn for when the oil starts pushing down the lane. What do you think???
