On the other hand, some of us just have to make do with what we have and use our "God given talent" to score well...lol #laugh# #nutkick# #kick# That's another reason I didn't switch, I felt I could make the adjustments needed to get the 10 pin out myself...lol...most of the time I do, but not all the time.... It don't take a lot of talent to hit the pocket on Arm I's normal shot....I wasn't throwing the ball all that great the first two games. Easiness in the shot covered a lot of my sins so to say...lol... What was the deal tuesday why didnt you change to your blade sooner? Its not like you were bowling good to make a ball change decision hard on you.... "I moved 1/2 a bored" lmao, todays 1/2 a bored move is a dot lol

There's nothing wrong with that as long as a bowler knows how much they need to move for their game and ball they are throwing...

Well perfect I for one am really getting tired of hearing about your 1/8 board adjustments. I have to go with Jeremy on this one. You may not have to move a full dot because of the amount of revolutions you have (pansy) #SmlyROFL# But I have to say with the reactions of todays equipment moving one board is like spitting in the wind and have it fly back and hit you in the face #drool# perfect get out of the 80's and early 90's urethane days and make real adjustments. A reactive ball bouncing off of the dry plus the ball flaring 3 to 6 inches depending on the drilling and revolutiions moving one board is useless. Each board is 1 inch wide so if a ball flares 4 inches then imo you need to be at least 3 boards left of your normal starting point. Once again jmo

If I go in the beak on a shot I thought I threw well, then I will move 3 boards left with my feet. But if I just trip a 4 pin, then I will only move 1 board to 2 boards with my feet..... and reactive skids a lot in the oil and I play a tighter line than Jeremy which means I don't bounce as many dry boards as him. But trust me, if I go through the beak, I move at least 3 boards with my feet and move my target in as well....For me, 1/2 and 1 board adjustments are for carry, not for getting off the beak..... ;D

IMHO your to close to the oil line and the dry at armadilla 2 and when the lanes do change they effect you more because your so close to the edge. IMO if you started deeper when the shot opened up you would have more play because when you miss right with the line your playing you hit the dry dry to early which is causing your early hook and when you do move in you hit the puddle and come in light. Your changing balls to less aggressive equipment so you can bump the dry but IMO your playing the shot backwards. Instead of using less aggressive equipment have you tried using a more aggressive ball and moved in deeper in the oil and then changing to a less aggressive ball after the inside opens up then your over under wouldn't be as bad. JMO

JMO That's how I have been trying to play the lanes at Arm II the first few weeks. I found my best results with my Roto Star Horizon and moving in.... There's no way my Blade or Crunch Time could go up the boards around 2nd arrow the first game. The dry is too dry and the oil was too slick for those balls.... I didn't shoot well last Tuesday night but I did Monday night on the high end, the low end plays a lot different to me than the high end.... The oil inside is better on the high end, than on the low end...JMO... But I hope your not trying to defend that crap that has been out there so far are you?.... The ousides are way too dry, Jimbo knows it, I know it and everyone else knows it. That's why Randy was talking to Jimbo last Tuesday during bowling, to change some things with the shot. I am hoping to see something better out there tonight in league.... ;D Like a whole lot more oil every where.....lol...

On Monday nights, I shot 719 the second week and 670 something the first week but can't remember exactly....180 something, 190 something, then 290.... Nothing really great as far as series, but not that bad considering the shot....JMO... and cy tonight also...

Shot pretty well last night... 229 (should have been more but split in the 8th frame), 244, 248... This set my average at 230 in this league... So here we go, now I have to see if I can keep it up there.

High Hopes in the Occidental Mixed league has increased our lead in the league, we took 4 from the 2nd place team last night, think we're 15 -1 now....lol... As usual I started off using my Hammer Doom, went 258, 237.... tried the Doom the first frame of the third game, wrapped a solid 10 pin, so I put it up.... I wasn't going to shoot another 190 with that ball the 3rd game like I have the last two weeks...lol...Pulled out the Blade for a few frames, it didn't do any better, Tried the Crunch Time one frame, didn't like it either, wrapped another 10 pin with it.... So in the 9th, I pulled out the Horizon and moved deeper, by this time, I've had two opens and no doubles, what do I have to lose at this point I was saying...lol... Struck out in the 9th and 10th for a 189 game, at least I think I found my 3rd game ball now...lol...Ended up with a 684 series for the night and carrying a 239 average after 3 weeks.
Oh, Arm I has pulled a coat on the lanes, they have lanes 1 thru 16 done....I don't know when they are going to do the high end, maybe this weekend. Fortunately, we were on 17 & 18 and didn't have to bowl on those pairs...lol... It appeared that the lanes that had the coat pulled were hooking more, especially on the back ends....scores were down last night in the Eliminator and 3 brackets that were run.... Heck, my 189 finished 3rd in the Eliminator, behind a 202 that won and a 200 that was second. To give y'all an idea...lol...I split two brackets with Roger and finished 2nd in the third, so I made money for the night. Put up 20.00 bucks and got back 60.00 which includes the 10.00 for 3rd in the Eliminator...
