Pasadena Bowling Hall of Fame nomination applications are available at both centers.
Deadline is November 17th.
Accepting nominations in Outstanding Performance, Meritorious Service for Males and Females. Also, Posthumous Nominations are accepted.
Induction Banquet and Awards Dinner will be February 17, 2007 Well that time is quickly upon us to get those applications in. The deadline is almost here. I have heard of several nominations that are being submitted. Mills, Ruiz, MrP, Long, Jr. and others. Sure is going to be a good race again this year. Good luck to all the nominees.

It would be interesting to know, if all of the other nominees posted on this site, if the decision on whom to vote for would be easier or more complicated...

#SmlyROFL# The funniest thing I think I ever heard was one year during the HOF voting O'fer was making a presentation on the HOF nominees and when it came to Jeff Clark one of the older HOF members said"WHO'S THAT I DON'T THINK I'VE HEARD OF HIM" #nutkick# I think it was the funniest thing I've ever heard #SmlyROFL#

How can you be allowed to vote if you don't even know who are the best bowlers in the area?.... thanks, Xbom..... I'm sure PBA is telling you to shut the F**k up....lol...

Just like if your trying to vote for someone who played in the 50's and 60's. For example Ted Green is 84 years old but I can't tell you about his bowling in his younger days. He didn't always have Parkinson's disease and throw the ball 10mph. So stats are the only way to judge his bowling.

When some of these older bowlers may not be aware of a current bowler and their accomplishments, that is when other factors come into play concerning their voting... factors such as attitude and respect for others. Seriously though, when these bowlers read bios and stats and see 30-40 300 games... by an individual, there was not 30-40 300 games bowled in the first 40 years of the Pasadena B.A.... plus people raised in other generations hold all aspects of a person in regard to their appraisal of them... not just numbers and accomplishments.

Well if they have never heard of someone, how could they know the other aspects of a bowler as far as personality ?..... these forms don't come with a personality profile questionnaire either...lol... not to give y'all any ideas...lol.... But as I've heard some say.. If accomplishments in Pasadena are given more weight than other achievements..... Then why don't the Hall of Fame form ask to have that separated out?... as in honor score in Pasadena and how many outside of Pasadena or with Titles or whatever....if Accomplishments in Pasadena are to be given more consideration, then shouldn't the Hall of Fames Form ask for it to be separated out?...just asking...
