Congratulations to the elected inductees for the Hall of Fame: Male Outstanding Performance: Roger Banks and Charlie Mills Female Outstanding Performance: Sunday Evans Female Meritorious Service: Liz Latham Posthumous Recognition: Robert Tatum Thanks to the 28 Hall of Fame members that were present to cast their ballots and for taking their responsibility seriously. I know there will be disappointment for those not elected this year but, as has been mentioned time and time again, it's not if but when. Congratulations to all who have been elected to the hall of fame.

Congratulations to all the inductees. Very good selections. The people who didn't win were worthy also. It was a tough vote, very close. without giving it away, it was extremely close. The men's ballot was loaded with talent and worth, seriously, many candidates. i am glad i didn't have to vote, it would have meant not voting for someone out of that group that was worthy. Nothing to say to Jeff and James Jr but, it's not "if" it's when. Please don't be discouraged, or feel it's "you" - i was there, it's not bad feeling for anyone, just extremely hard choices that people had to make. when you have a responsibility like voting for hall of fame, you of course carry your own set of values into the voting. 800's may mean more to you, 300's may be more important. good bowling and meritourious service may be your nitch. Good bowling for 25 yrs and nothing less than that may be your bag. Bowlers who work with the kids may be your criteria. who knows. i can guarantee it's not that the credentials of those who were not put in that made the difference, i heard too too many comments about how impressive they were. NEVER EVER try to figure the voting public - look who are president is for God's sake (just threw that in HA HA) Vince Young and Reggie Bush are not on the Texans, ANdy Pettite wants to go to New York, OJ Simpson is a free man - don't try to figure what the mass public thinks. These people could not get this wrong yesterday though, whoever got in was worthy - ALL the nominees were excellant choices. congrats to the winners, and your time is coming to those who weren't chosen THIS year.
Mr. Perfect, your humility is comforting. As i told you the other day, you are a good kind person and going to the Hall of Fame does not define you as a person, it just enhances someone. You are still a good person, a phenom on the lanes, and a future hall of famer.
By the way, good win Saturday! tough format

I was doing ok with rrjjjjj blowing smoke @ purfectt until she called him a phenom. PAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSEEEEEE I kind of laughed at the "phenom" designation as well, but one thing I have to agree with rjj about... he backs up his talk. I think the tone of many of his posts is offputting and upsets many people, and then when he backs up his boasting it makes people even more upset about things... he definitely has the "villian" act down much like they use in venues like Pro Wrestling and Roller Derby. The problem with the villian act is wrestling is fake and many of the bowlers, including the Hall of Fame voters take their bowling very seriously.

I did my best Andy Pettite impersonation this weekend. Or maybe it was "SHOW ME THE MONEY" I voted for the ones who paid the most for my vote this weekend. Needless to say after I added all the money up I still didn't have enough to by a piece of bubble gum so I voted for the ones I thought would represent the HOF to the best of their ability. I voted for some and not for others but I feel that the ones I voted for this year and didn't have enough points finished high enough that next year I feel if they get nominated again they'll get in. The vote was close and I was surprised at the totals. Don't worry perfect your time is coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about making them more upset PBA, I think it borders more on jealousy...lol.... True wresting is fake but I also thought the forum was mostly BS as well. Most of us most of the time say crap just to aggrevate each other....lol... Bom and I just excell at it...lol.....

Cassidy for bowling and Jeff for meritorious service.... lol more likely Posthumous ...lol.. Well, I hope it doesn't come to that... because I can't wait to hear the acceptance speech. I have one shot.... one shot...... at having someone give a speech that outdoes mine.... on record as the "best" ever... (and they only razz me about it because they wish theirs would have been as entertaining) So, mr. p, start working on your speech... you will have the opportunity to give it one day soon.

Started to watch that match of Eddie and me a little this weekend. Would have been nice if PBA and Kris B. had a microphone and did some commentary and some jokes during our match. I fell asleep watching I was so bored and I was one of the bowlers...lol...
