Thank you PBA, Homersan and Donna, getting congratulations from your friends means everything to me. Y'all may find it hard to believe but it's left me pretty much speechless and overwhelmed...I really don't know what to say, other than thank you and thanks to the Hall of Fame members for giving me this honor.
Donna, tell Jeff to keep his chin up, I heard he missed getting in by a vote or two and I know how that feels to be that close and just miss out by a little. He is very worthy as were many of the other nominees. I would have been more than glad to have shared the stage with him this year. It feels very strange to be the only one going in this year. At least we'll be able to get out of there at a reasonable time...lol... I will not be trying to break David Fields acceptance speech record...lol... I just hope that everyone has a good time as we all have in the past for this ceremony.

You've got nothing to prove anymore more.. LOL Thank you XBOM..... Now, I get to be on the other end...lol... but that's ok, I will know how they will feel. No more complaining for me and actually, after receiving the word that I got in this year made me feel as bad as it did good, from the things I said in the past. To those who's feeling I may have hurt, please accept my deepest apology. This experience has taught me a higher level of understanding of the Hall of Fame......

NOW I am free and clear to congratulate you! It was tough last week not being able to do so until it was official.
Way to Go, Jeff! I am truly happy for you. I am looking forward to your special evening.

I am looking forward to your special evening. Thanks Christine... I'll try not to cry on the microphone or read my speech too fast, so that the guests will be able to comprehend the first sentence before the speech is over....lol..... I want my time at the microphone to be enjoyable and funny for all...I'm sure I'll owe some people some paybacks from jabs I'll be having to take before I get up there....lol...

You were my last hope to break my record on time of acceptance...
But, I have a feeling we will be glad you stop talking when you do... and if I accidentally unplug the microphone... take that as your cue to say thanks and leave... lolololololololol

Congrats Jeff! and like it was said previously, it is fitting that you will be the only inductee ... now my only concern is for the health and well-being of this here message board ... without your "Hall of Fame slight" rants and justifications, the message board might just dry up almost completely LoL

Thanks Charlie, ......it's been pretty dry on here anyways lately. But as bad as Arm II's shot has been on Tuesday nights and most of the time on Monday nights, I'll at least have something to rant about...lol.... J/K....
As far as the only one going in this year, thanks for the thought but that really makes me more nervous than anything. I would have been just as happy if there was another person going in with me. Contrary to popular belief.....I don't need all the spotlight all the time... just some of it every once in a while...lol....

Pete McCordic, SW PBA Regional director has agreed to be our Guest Speaker at this year's banquet. Pete was a longtime member of the PBA tour and many of us remember his winning $100,000 in 1987 by bowling the first 300 game on TV in 13 years on the old ABC Saturday afternoon bowling show. We are excited about his availibility and agreeing to attend our banquet. Tickets are $25 each and available from any GPUSBC Board member, or there is a link to order online @ www.pasadenabowling.com

Well, we'll see... I just hope you're working on your acceptance speech.... I'm still rooting for you to last longer than I did... I know it won't be better but you can make up for that with more...
