Well, I bowled league competition for the first tiem since before Christmas last night, and also, for the first time as a lefty...
I bowled ok... I missed some spares, mostly on the right side, but, the last game, I only had 1 opne, and threw a crucial 10 pin spare and then struck on my fill ball for a 200 even... I finished with a 490 series (163 avg.) which I think is more than acceptable for my first night...
Plus, all the autographs and stuff I was having to sign... lol
I was pleased... the left side was pretty slick, and I could have used a little more ball instead of the Bruunswick Punisher...

I'm glad AthTECHlic supporter is going to great lengths to display the accuaracy of the averages from the ABC League... as long as those averages are rounded to the 20 or 30th place "real man of genius" aka mr. perfect has a chance to catch up to the top averages...

Good bowling PBA... not bad at all for the first time as a lefty... It was also good to see you bowling again..... How's the body today, any major aches or pains?...hopefully, less than before as a righty...

Tech was just doing that crap to rub it in.....lol...that's ok, I can take it.... Jeremy and John are both good bowlers and there will not be any shame on my part if they finish higher than me.... but I still have two weeks...lol... there's still a chance for the old man to catch up....lol.... But I'm glad they get all excited about beating up on a 45 year old....lol... They're a$$es will be my age one day, I wonder if they will be able to hang with a 33 and 20 year olds then, like I have with them...lol... ;D

Well, I can't make myself learn how to slide, my right knee is still balky, I weigh too much and so my legs are tired today... plus my middle finger on my LH is a little sore... I guess I got a little arthritis... my back was a little sore, but mostly due just to being out of shape... The main thing was it was enjoyable to bowl... and I ended up throwing the ball so crappy right handed, that left handed is already better... I wish more people could have seen me bowl years ago when I was quite good right handed...

Had a so-so night last night. Shoot 220, 171, 175, 566 and we lost 3. Charlie Poteet was in a tree last night on his 13? avg plus our ace in the hole didn't do well at all last night. James Hoy and I did ok, but Janese couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. There's always next week.

After bowling on Pearland's slick stuff last Thursday night, it took me a game to get lined up and throwing the ball correctly for the shot. Went 173, 209, 211 for a 593.... It's not bad but should have done better.... My average will stay at 198 but with two more weeks left in the league I should be able to get it above 200, I hope...lol....
As a team we shot 1800 scratch, Erik went 605 and Mills shot 602 and we won all 4 games from Mano's Pro Shop that was 3 games ahead of us.....Hopefully we made a move on 1st & 2nd place as well.....I'll know for sure once Roger sends in the league info to USBC...

Who ever said you need spares, just strike enough to win lol ;D

It amazes me how her average remains so low...... ;D ;D ;D ;D

When she starts bowling bad, it is impossible to get her on the right track. You won't see her shoot 120 then 190. If she starts out with 125, she will stay there or get worse as the night goes on.

Congrats to Shawn Maldonado for the first 700 in the Sport's League... 716.
Also, kudos to Tom Moreno for a 269 the 3rd game. (He almost doubled his 2nd game score).
Good bowling guys.

Shawn was in a zone and of course, we were bowling against him, but we still took 3 from them. I had a so-so night. Shot 161, 224, 193, 578. Congrats also to Janese Hoy for having a clean 2nd game. That's more than alot of people can say this summer in that league...lol. I also had a clean 3rd game.

Shawn definitely threw the ball well last night... Great bowling... Thought I had a chance at 700 myself until the 3rd game, our right lane went to crap, oil carry down... went 255, 212, 181...for a 648 and a 201.73 after 15 games...I won't get in 2/3's of the league to really have my average count but as expected Mills and I are #1 and #2 in averages in the league and I've gain some ground on Mills but I doubt I'll catch him with one week left in the league.
