Did ya'll know that the guy that caught Berkman's gand slam is the same guy that caught Burke's home run. Of all the luck. I heard this on the radio this morning. I also heard that he was thinking about giving the ball that Burke hit back to him.

can we sacrafice the texans to ensure a spot in the world series for the astros? the neighbors that i gave the texans tickets to told me that some people @ the football game were chanting, "LETS GO ASTROS, LETS GO ASTROS" Reminds me of the time in 94 we were at an Astros game in the Dome during the Rockets and Knicks NBA Title series! The Rockets were playing in the Summit and the put the game on the jumbo screen and the crowd was cheering and yelling for the Rockets every time they scored!!!!!!!!!!!

I was an employee of the Astros back in the 80's and remember the excitement of the Mets extra inning game, but yesterday's game put that game and series to shame. All I can say about yesterday's game is WOW!

Keep them bats hot, because we will need them to beat St. Louis....

This morning Mike and I were having a discussion about who they were playing when they went 16 innings. He like perfect, made the mistake of doubting my Astros facts. He said it was the Padres, I kept trying to tell him he was wrong.
I can't wait until Wednesday!

It will take more than hot bats to beat St. Louis. Our pitching will have to be on. They have an explosive line up and if the pitching isn't there our bats won't be enough.

Keep them bats hot, because we will need them to beat St. Louis.... Hey perfect!!!!!!!!!! If our bats were so freaking hot yesterday why did they play 18 innings? could it be because no runs were scored for 9 innings by either team All I read about is Bobby Cox for manager of the year with all the rookies he had on his team this year Well I think Garner out coached him in this series and for the whole season coming from 15 games under 500 to make it to the wild card and he should be manager of the year JMO

I honestly feel the series will only go 6 games this year...(if we are to win) If it goes in 5 or 7 games... I will have a bad feeling St. Louis will win it, considering our road record... We have to take 1 game in St. Louis period at some point in the series and we have to make sure we win all our home games to have a chance to take the series....JMO...

But I could see hot and cold in that to.... I don't disagree with you about the coaching, I think Garner deserves it over Cox....as well...

I missed that....lol....must not have been televised... It was in the background when that lady was trying to make Roger the hero of the game! He did pitch great and keep us in the game but interview the guy who just had the game winning walk off home run!! STOOPID FOX REPORTERS If you look real close in the background you'll see it when she switches from Roger to Chris
