I think he is testing them all! Qualls came around last year, but he sure does scare me. It was a great game to watch. Alayna was there to see it.

I guess it is just the Astros. They can't do anything easy. Have an 11-2 lead and end up winning 13-12.
Last year we couldn't get a hit and this year the bullpin isn't getting it done.

They were definitely looking for a way to lose that game last night... They need to develop that killer instinct and put teams away when they got them down by 3 or more runs....They almost came back and won it....

Kyle McDonald is going to throw out the 1st pitch at the Astros game on June 2, 2006. They are playing either the Cubs or the Reds... I forget which.
Kyle had been in contact with them last fall as he was in the process of deciding where to undergo his lung transplant... his options were in St. Louis or @ Duke University in North Carolina.
Being such anti-Cardinal "fans", they chose Duke... they emailed the Astros about their decision, and were told to keep them updated...
So, now, he is going to throw out the 1st pitch.
We should all make plans to go... it's a Friday night. My biggest challenge will be to try to get there in time to see it.

This is on the Astro Website...
HOUSTON -- The Houston Astros announced today that they have acquired outfielder Aubrey Huff and $1.625 million in cash considerations from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in exchange for minor league right-handed pitcher Mitch Talbot and minor league infielder Ben Zobrist. In addition, the Astros have optioned outfielder Jason Lane to Triple-A Round Rock and designated minor league infielder Joe McEwing for assignment. The announcement was made by General Manager Tim Purpura.

WELL, WE GOT AUBREY HUFF FROM TAMPY BAY - OUTFIELDER, DECENT BATTING. JASON LANE IS DOWN TO 3a AND WE TRADED A COUPLE OF MINOR LEAGUERS. AT LEAST THEY DID SOMETHING -THIS GUY CAN PLAY OUTFIELD, BERKMAN CAN STAY ON FIRST AND SAVE HIS KNEES, AND LAMB CAN PLAY 3RD, AND AFTER HE PLAYS AWHILE, HE WILL BE OK THEN IF WE STILL HAVE ENSBERG, HE CAN TRY AGAIN NEXT YEAR, ON HIS "ON" YEAR SINCE HE IS EVERY OTHER YEAR GOOD.

Aubrey Huff is good but i think we need some more pitching.... I think that they need to trade Lidge, Lane, and Astacio for Dontrelle Willis of the Marlins I heard that he is on the block! Adn the use Russ Springer as their closer!

Adn the use Russ Springer as their closer! Sounds pretty good to me, but I think that Dan Wheeler would do better as a closer.

I am curious as to where they are going to actually play Huff. He was playing 3rd base this year. He has only committed 6 errors this year. He might be a better defensive 3rd baseman than Lamb. Hopefully his arrival will help out the offense. I was hoping they would trade for pitching and bring Luke Scott up to play the outfield. He is batting around .290 and has hit 20 hrs in triple A this year. He started in LF in the tiple A allstar game tonight.
