perfect just called to check in with me... he's out in the field looking at roofs blown off of grocery stores in the Beaumont area... he had a 676 last night... then he started explaining what happened shot for shot... and I zoned out for about 10 minutes... then I heard, "Are you still there?" and I snapped out of it...

i didnt bowl, but i wish i could have. for the first time we had a full team and we won 4. however, i did practice and there was and obvious difference in the lanes. its possible i could have used some of my weaker reactive. who knows? note to armageddon; changing lane conditions is ok when there is a problem. but, last monday night there was an honor score bowled by a rightie, (and he was not the only rightie striking) then on tuesday the "phoenix" is adjusted by the righties, for the complaining righties. yall confuse me. question to armageddon; there was no honor score bowled last night, do the lanes get changed again?

True, this will impact the amount of oil on the lane compared from before the 2 wicks were changed out but that is to be expected....you should know that... As far as the shot last night it was better....IMO... I was on 5 & 6.... There was more oil in the middle and in general I liked it. Had games of 268, 192 and 214 for a 674 series. I was high on the pair. Carry was an issue for everyone the 2nd and 3rd games for our team. We lost 3 games last night. We were giving up 92 pins a game... I did experience the right lane getting tighter as the night went on and the left lane drying out. Two completely different transitions. Had 10 pin carry issues the 2nd & 3rd games, mostly on the right lane. I still heard a few bowlers complaining the lanes were on the dry side..... (They are Arm I bowlers) that are use to more oil..... Me personally, I am 3 to 4 board further right with my feet at Arm I than I am at Arm II with the same ball.....just an FYI....

At Arm II, We won all 4 games.... I was consistent, 216, 202, 227 for a 645.... Lanes are still much dryer than last years shot... Talked to RR, he said he would look around the league and ask a few people what they think.... So if he does that, I'll be happy if he changes anything or not. At least he listened to me and took what I had to say under consideration.... Thanks RR, I do appreciate it... +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ WELL IT APPEARS TO ME that people were complaining to rr about the lanes being dry. what do you think purfect? im also still trying to figure out at what point when you were talking to rr that you decided general maintenance needed to be done.

I was talking to RR in the Pro shop about the shot two or three weeks ago about the differences from last year to this year and what I have heard from other bowlers.... I didn't decide general maintenance was needed .....but I am sure that my concerns along with every one elses about the dryer shot, prompted RR to have Jimbo take a closer look at the machine and see if anything needed to be replaced or whatever. I'm assuming from that inspection, they felt that two wicks needed to be replaced.......does that clear it up a little more for you wannabe?...

Bowled ok last night at the Duece....had games of 225, 256 and 214 for a 695. Couldn't carry crap the last game, 10 pins or 4 pins... oil carried down and had to cover a $hit load of boards to keep it right but I'm not the only one.... Hell my 214 finished 3rd in the Eliminator and had a win and two 2nd's in the brackets.
The lanes are still too dry for my liking. Randy Ray did shoot a 299 last night, congrats to him.... Guess I need to get a 14 lb. marble drilled up and have it polished, learn to stand all the way left open up at the line sideways and twist it up to score at Arm II...or change my whole game up to throw the ball 19 to 20 mph like Jeremy or Xbom..... I was having trouble getting the ball through the heads last night and keeping it from hooking early on the backends....and I was throwing my least aggressive 2 balls.... Still think the oil needs to be heavier and possibly longer down the lanes. This dry a$$ crap is going to ruin my game for every where else that has oil.... and that's every where else I bowl....
Oh and PS.... our approaches were tacky..... and screwedintexas can attest to that.....

had my abs shoes on, but i dont bust my a s s in them. Never seem to have problems slideing, but I did last night for some reason in certain spots I did. Ended up haveing to move out side so I wouldnt hit the tacky parts. By then my timeing was in pretty bad shape and I couldnt repeat shots or carry when i did. Just another night of bowling bad. Ill be back next week to see how it goes.
