I think I am going to bowl it. I have heard a few others talking about it. I think Dale Spahr (the twin Lavery-Spahr youth bowlers father) wants to try it. I enjoyed it last year. It is great to see the better bowlers humbled cuz they aren't as precise as they thought they were!

Well if anyone needs a bowler i'm up for bowling with anyone, hell i'd even put up with perfects big head *not like he'd ask but I had to throw the trash talk in *. I only got to sub once last year and managed a whopping 145 avg for the night. But was a dry shot and I only had strong equipment with me. Since then i've changed my equipment and personally feel I throw the ball alot better and understand more about my game then I did a year ago so no clue what i'd manage on a sports league now. If anyone needs a bowler drop me a msg or see me at Arma 1 on mon/wed's

The Pasadena Sports League will have it's meeting on May 23rd @ 7:00 PM, and the league will start May 30th @ 6:50 practice with a 7:00 PM start time. We will be using 2 patterns agian this year. 1st half will be a flat gutter to gutter pattern 42 feet. The 2nd pattern will be the Jr. Sports tourny pattern we had in the machine last year but did not use UNTIL the sweepers last year. We have to pick the patterns before the league starts as to get them certified by USBC prior to applying. I have registered the league and the house with USBC, as required each year. Just a few notes, there is an addtional 9.00 sanction fee to be in a sports league. The league is a 3 member per team, with no max on the averages. ( last year we went with a max, but with the sport league, the averages are not as important.) We will vote on the league format at the meeting, I would like to recommend that we split the league in half, (have a half winner on each pattern), then have the 2 teams bowl for the league championship at the end. We can go with any other ideas as well. Just the let the bowlers now, every week before the league, we lay down the pattern and run inspection tapes to be sent to USBC for certification. This is done every week and emailed to USBC. So, the commitment from the Assc. is there to do this each week as well. The standings will be posted every week on bowl.com as well. Last year, the top three averages were 189, 187 and 185 if I remember correctly. So the conditons require better accuracy and SPARES! That is the biggest thing I can pass on is you need to spare well to score. If anybody is interested, look at BOWL.COM under the sprots league section for all the information. As well, the day of the meeting, I will check with DANA to see if we can lay out the patterns as we did last year for practice for the bowlers. Will confirm after we have talked. It is a learning experience and remember, to check your attitude at the door, there will be no one averaging 230 and striking every shot. SHOOT SPARES! HE HE HE

Toooo slooooooow.. Why ya waiting till the week before to find members Rusty. If you can't find anyone I could ask my dad if he'd want to do the sports league. He seemed kinda annoyed that I didn't ask him to bowl with me I think heh. Sure he would love to bowl with you again, although I think he's the one who deserves the name "nohookman" and not you. Btw this is Kenneth Coker.

Just got a message from Hickey.. he spoke with Danna... both shots will be put out for practice at the Sport's league meeting. They have to be taped and sent in to National headquarters for approval also.. so that is why they will be out there.

Hey Orkocean, I just found out that one of my bowlers is not going to bowl. And as usual they have to wait until the last minute to say anything.

Russ Riker has expressed a desire to bowl the sport's league... I'm not sure if he was planning on being there tonight, but, I think he wants to bowl.

I think this is going to a fun summer. Both shots seemed to be scorable and from what I heard, the 2 shots are easier than last years patterns. We will have to wait and see if that is true. The 1st pattern is pretty dry and the 2nd pattern is pretty slick. The best of both worlds in 1 summer. It will be fun, humbling and a learning experence. Good luck everyone.

Oh well I'll probably make an appearence over there this summer to watch the fun and the puzzled expressions on y'alls faces!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
