Well, Houston Bowling Hall of Fame recognition is a great honor...
I just wonder if enough of the West Side clique knows who you are?

The previous message in NO way, shape or manner indicates that I consider the Pasadena Bowling Hall of Fame to be inferior to any such institution in organized bowling.
I am proud of the Pasadena Bowling Hall of Fame, and will continue all my efforts to elect worthy nominees and organize, produce and present a memorable induction ceremony for all current and previous inductees.

I'm sure that many of them know me from the old days if not of recent times....Since USBC rules are enforce, only Houston Hall of Famers can vote on new inductees.....Does HBA have a website? and if they do, I wonder if they list they're Hall of Famers?....

I would'nt have taken your comment wrongly... Let's face it, Houston is way bigger than Pasadena with tougher competition to get inducted.....It does carry a bit more prestige in my opinion than Pasadena's but that's not meant to say that getting in Pasadena's is not a prestigious accomplishment. Houston's is just a little more....IMO...

That's wrong to...lol.. many had their minds made up before listening to all the canidates last year from what I heard.....lol.... The mistake I made the last couple of years was passing out the ballots before the presentation was finished. I think some of the votes were cast "in the dark"

That's not a bad idea... pass out the ballots after all the presentations of the candidates are given and I will add, that an open discussion based on personal experiences of what the Hall of Famers have seen the inductees do in the past. Give their opinions as to what carries more weight than other accomplishments. Not that anyone has to change their minds but to help give incite to what many of the voters will base their votes on......Just a thought..... then pass out the ballots....JMO....

Voting this year will be men and women members of the Hall of Fame and the Hall of Fame Committee members that attend the election meeting. Voting procedures to be determined. The electees will then be presented to the new USBC Board of Directors for ratification.
