Congratulations to Eddie Brod for bowling the 1st PBA Experience (Sport Shot) 300 game in Greater Pasadena USBC history. Congratulations go out to Eddie B., I heard he packed all 12 shots, I saw the 12th frame myself and all were good shots. Eddie had a 667 series for the night after a rough start the first game with a 150 something but came back with a 211 the second game. Great shooting Big E.... Save some of that shiat for Nationals... my Doubles partner.... ;D I did ok for the night, started off a little shaky with a 185 (3 bagger and 2 opens) but came back with a 220 (front 5 and two opens) and a 223 (clean game finally) for a 628 series. Won 2 of 6 brackets and the Eliminator and as Wine said, we won all 4 games. On our pair (31 & 32) the oil started carrying down bad about the 5th or 6th frame of the first game but once it settled down I could move right and had a decent shot. Even though the shot last night is tougher than the house cake shots around town, they are playable if your throwing the ball good. I strongly feel that there will be more honor scores shot this summer then in the past....JMO.... hopefully I'll be one of them.

I had a great time last night - first night shooting on a sports shot. I have enough troubles on a house shot!!! With all the horror stories I've heard, I was very pleased with my 504................ but then Mrs Doctor told me she had a 599 and I realized I need to step up next week. Congrats to Mrs. Doctor! I am very impressed.
Brian Yeager, on my set of lanes, had a 288, leaving a pocket 7-10 in the 12th. I was happy my team managed to take one game afterall from them. I was very surprised to see so many nice scores last night, and then see so many others struggling. I'm looking forward to next week!

Congratulations to Eddie Brod for bowling the 1st PBA Experience (Sport Shot) 300 game in Greater Pasadena USBC history. Congrats to EFB for his 300 last night. Now he has done something that MrP can't say he has done. ;D ;D We were on 31-32 last night. We won 4 to start the season. I was constantly having to move and change hand postions and even changed balls in the middle of the 2nd game. I was playing a more down and in shot. I never missed the head pin on the first shot all night. Very proud of that as I watched alot of people miss it. It was fun and this shot was alot more scorable than the shot we had the 1st 6 weeks last season. I shot 179, 210, 213, 602 with 3 opens to set a 200 average. MrP shot 185, 220, 223, 628 to set a 209 average and Rocky Zurovec shot 164, 195, 154, 513 to set a 171 average. I really didn't ever think that I would be the only one ever that would hold a honor score in Pasadena in the Sport league. There are a lot of good bowlers in Pasadena and if you give them enough chances, eventually someone else will do it..... Besides, I got screwed with that stone 9 pin last year...lol... but that's the breaks and all I can do is just try and put myself in position to try and get that 300 game this year.... There was some other good shooting by other bowlers as well last night... Charlie Mills shot 680 something, Eric Cunningham had a 650 something I think....and there may be some others I don't know about...

I wonder with Roger out this week, I doubt that our league scores will be sent to USBC and posted to the web site. Also, I wonder if Roger or James called and asked about the newer version of Perfect Secretary and if there were any costs...

well, there is a Hooters across the street from our hotel and poker sounds good, maybe get up a little $10 or $20 tourney either friday or saturday night sounds good to me Congrats to all the good scores last night ... i limped my way to a 498 trying to play 4th arrow, but the shot was so tight in there that a board miss either way ended up in missing the headpin on either side!!! i moved out to the 6-7 board in the 8th frame of the last game and smashed the pocket the last 3 shots, so i guess i know where i'll be starting out next week!!!

Bowled fair last night but should have been a lot better. Poor spare shooting on my part most of the night and bad execution my first game. Went 179, 208 and 222 for a 609 series...Hopefully, I'll get better on this shot in the weeks to come.

i actually did OK last night, considering the puke that i threw out there the first week, 498 i think!
last night i went 201, 192, 191 and felt like i really threw the ball well ... 5 opens all night and 4 of them were splits ... the only actual spare i missed was the 2-8 in the last game
unfortunately we lost 3 to Darren and the Missus ... they shot within 5 pins every game, pretty consistent as a team
