The semi finals & finals will be this Saturday starting at 1PM at Diamond and then on to Armadilla. After the 6 games, then their will be the double elimination bracket for the top 8 qualifiers from each division. Anyone have a list of who qualified in each division from each center? I haven't been to Diamond to see their list and didn't make a copy of the Armadilla list when I was their Saturday. I know I made it at Armadilla and MrP didn't...lol. Oops, did I already start this early on a Monday morning? lol ;D

The blank white space at Al Hanes names was because he had a higher qualifying score....

The copy I looked at Saturday had your name in white also. your name was not highlighted in yellow. Maybe I looked at it wrong. Maybe someone will come online today and post all the qualifiers.

The one they had posted at Arm I last Thursday had my name highlighted in yellow or blue, can't remember the color but my name was highlighted... ;D

Just a reminder about the All Star Tournament this Saturday.
mr. perfect DID make the cut with 702.
We have approximately 50 bowlers that qualified from both centers... I know some are not bowling, but, there will be some that missed out and will bowl.
I am hoping for 40+... that will be more than last year and will continue the good run this tournament has had....
Next year the Youth will be eligible to bowl, so we will have 4 (or 5 if we spilt boys/ girls) Divisions. Paula and I were discussing just having 2 weeks of qualifying for them and then letting them bowl under the same format. I'm sure they will be bowling on a handicap basis.

That's cool the youth will be able to participate in this event next year. It will be good Tourn. experience for them and a chance to see some of the best bowlers Pasadena has to offer...and hopefully inspire them to continue bowling as they get older..

There might be an issue this Saturday with people showing up on time for the start of the tournament. It was announced last night that the tournament starts at 1:30 at Diamond. I called the front desk and said, no it starts at 1:00pm. Then it was corrected over the intercom, but it may have been told earlier in the week, too. Just thought I'd give the heads-up on the issue.

There are signs posted by the standing sheets and in strategic locations with the correct starting time and such. I have been telling people to check in between 12:00 and 12:30.

True, but how many people read signs? I just thought I would bring it to the table of the possible problem.

BTW...good luck to everyone bowling the tournament this Saturday, but most of all have FUN. I will have fun no matter if I'm bowling good or not.
On a side note, it will be my 2 year anniversary of my last 300 which was shot in this tournament in 2004. Maybe I can have a repeat performance.....RIGHHHHHHHHHHHT...lol

Does anyone have predictions as to who will be the top eight in the men's 200 and up Division? I don't know who has qualified in our division, maybe PBA can list the names....I know it won't have everyone because you won't know who will come in a pay the extra money to get in the Semi's but those that have qualified already is a good starting point...
